Idk what happens every single time because I wasn't on GGD for her previous tours and I don't really care what happens every time, we're talking about this stage now :bear: It didn't work well for a stadium, it felt empty, and people on the sides and in the distance had a bad view. These are all valid concerns and points of criticism. Coldplay and The Weeknd had better stage structure and design, and that doesn't mean Gaga is horrible and needs to end her tour immediately, it's simply a valid comparison with other big artists who are currently on tour.

Almost everyone that went to the actual tour loved it and had no issues so I don’t think it actually matters :bear: This forum is literally the only place that’s negative when it comes to Gaga and I find that very ironic :bear:

I liked the show from what I've seen so far but I have some positive and "negative" comments.

I liked how she abandoned the pink plastic aesthetic and put on a dark show.

I think the visuals for the tour is her best ones so far and my FAVORITES from her as general :firega:

The wardrobe was good however I'd love to see some wig changes.

Setlist was all over the place for me. Not opening with a chromatica song was weird and I'd keep Babylon towards the end of the show or even as the last song. LoveGame really doesnt fit the theme, Perfect illusion however would be a better fit and Joanne stans would be happy maybe. As for ARTPOP, she could've performed Applause. And where is Scheisse, Marry the Night and Sine from above? Especially MTN with all the flames bursting, that would be cool.

And the stage, I liked the brutalism concept but what did it add to the show exactly? And it didnt have a storyline attached to it from what I've seen. Enigma residency had more interesting stage and props (example, the scheisse robot thingy)

But Gaga looked so pumped and happy to perform on a tour again so I guess that is what's important the most.

Idk. Not that impressed so far. Lack of audience interaction and I find it weird she opened with Bad Romance. Something in my head makes it not add up. It was a bold choice and to me personally, a bad one.

Also, ARTPOP is my favorite Gaga album. The fact she skipped that album makes it even harder to like. At least she skipped Joanne too, that one I can understand.

Omg I’m trying to avoid spoilers but I keep seeing snippets on Twitter! I’m so tempted…

From the few glances I’ve allowed myself her looks are serving countess. Am I right?

Ok good for them, some of us didn't like it lmao.

The problem is that you ignored all the positives on this thread and chose to focus on some negatives that people had about the show. That's on you, not on us. If you want a thread where people exclusively praise everything blindly then make a "praise TCB" thread and enjoy it idk

Like literally everyone on twitter and ATRL can’t stop gushing about the tour but if anyone wants to deflate their hype, all you need to do is visit Gagadaily :lmao:

I was there. She was spectacular. But I was in the golden circle, front row but because of the Block stage I could nog see her. Even if she was front center stage, your view is blocked by the catwalk border. That stage is not it.

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

What does that have to do with anything? :bear: She can serve all of that on a better stage like she's done in all her previous tours :bear:

Thanks

People in this thread are literally saying things like “Gaga is mediocre” and  “Gaga doesn’t know how to perform” and you’re telling me my comment is the problem? Lmao okay. Anyway, if anyone is an OG fan, they’ll know that her tours always evolve and get better as the dates go by. I’ll see myself out.

Yes! Its like MB 1.0's sequel!

I hope there wont be any revamp

I was thinking this too! It reminded me of the 1.0 version mixed with elements of 2.0 (one that stood-out was Monster and her jumping out of from under the stage for the last chorus).

From a visual standpoint: A return to form.

I, personally, think that she has yet to top The Monster Ball in terms of concept, production and cohesiveness. She hasn't done that so far and every tour seemed a little less good than the previous one. While this one isn't lacking in the visual department, it's HEAVILY lacking in the setlist department.

I think Chromatica, although I'm not a fan of this album, lends itself to a lot of conceptual opportunities and I think she really missed out on that. Based from what I've seen this is the setlist I would have done if I were in charge:

ACT I: Tower (Trauma)

1. Intro / 911
2. Paparazzi
3. Applause
4. Dance in the Dark
5. Rabbit Hole Intro / Alice
6. Replay

Just Dance / Monster - Interlude

ACT II: Inferno (Submission vs. Dominance)

7. Scheiße
8. Heavy Metal Lover // John Wayne
9. Stupid Love
10. Bad Romance
11. Sour Candy
12. Poker Face

Stupid Love (Coucou Chloe Remix) - Interlude

ACT III: Temple (Love and Sexuality)

13. Free Woman
14. Telephone // Venus
15. Enigma
16. Alejandro / LoveGame / G.U.Y
17. Babylon

ACT IV: Battleground (Healing)

Marry the Night - Interlude

18. Sine from Above
19. The Edge of Glory
20. Shallow
21. Always Remember Us This Way // Hold My Hand

Encore:
22. Born This Way
23. Rain on Me

/ = Medley or Mashup
// = Alternate Song Choice
* = not performed regularly

I don't think she cares to much anymore about tours, speaking with her fans etc. I think she likes more her beauty brand/ playing in movies
