The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, claims that he does not regret the fact that he did not go to Moscow to negotiate a better price for natural gas.

"We got a contract that we could get, I will not start selling a piece of land just to have cheaper gas for half a year", mentioned Maia Sandu on the show "Buna Seara" from Moldova 1, transmits Știri.md. ''Now we have to manage starting from the situation we are in", Sandu specified.

Romania, who is not too dependent on Russian energy itself, will cetainly provide Moldova with gas.
