The link above shows the NASA website with in depth descriptions of each image, as well as the timeline of the James Webb telescope itself from pre-launch to now. The images include (credit to NASA): SMACS 0723 in Infrared: The composition of the exoplanet WASP-96b: The planetary nebula NGC3132: Stephen's Quintet, which contains five galaxies: NGC3324 in the Carina nebula: ---- Finally some good news as of late. The first to be so driven by curiosity and a thirst for knowledge that we launch robotic probes to send us photos and scans of it all. I say this not as a hippie but as a person who struggles very much to accept Kindness as a possibility. If we see the positive in each other rather than the negative there is a far smaller distance between us to come together and make something that is as marvellous as travelling into outer space.
