Multiple members of Gaga's OG dance team quit

I think it was a smart move speaking up now when attention is at a high bc of the tour. With all of them coming forward, stating plainly that it was NOT Gaga,  and that the environment needs to change, it sounds like this is them trying to fix the group to stay in the family. Their goal (I'm *assuming*) is the same thing we want: for Richy to find another place to go and for the dancers to come back.

So maybe we should be supporting them and **kindly** working with them to make it happen. Ya know, without the personal attacks and death threats.

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

A quick search on Wikipedia will explain why the use of that term is homophobic.

I’m well aware of that term and why it’s derogatory :huntyga:

Was just curious because I’ve never heard of this until now

Loool my bad. Just people on this site are so quick to counter argue just to be contrary so I thought I’d explain why the term is homophobic before someone came in and was like “that’s not even homophobic” lol

Although they stated it is not Gaga, but announcing this before the tour start will affecting the tour, and they realize that. How the press will be after this will be interesting. Everybody seems to have priorities.  It's like someone who proposing their loved one in someone else's wedding banquet. I symphatize with them but I still am unhappy they are doing this now. So what now?

Damn so maybe this is why Gaga hasn’t been teasing the tour because she’s been dealing with all this behind the scenes. He has got to go.

I also believe Montana was trying too hard to actively replace Richie and turn the team against him.

Where r u even getting this info?

Dont u think those dancers have minds of their own.

Well she’s not blind, also you guys claim she has such good relationships with them so obviously she knows.

Perhaps the key is that Gaga herself participates some of the rehearsals, and moreover, she works hard and has high expectations. She knows, or at least thinks she knows the real work environment (we don't know if Richy behaves the same in her presence as he does otherwise). She probably aware of the dancers' problems, but she may not have thought of them as serious, and she is seeing Richy as just a boss who demands hard work for her sake. If at the end the dancers bonded together and wanted Richy fired, she easily have decided to keep Richy with new dancers.

I mean I’m just objectively looking at the situation.

Montana comes out with this 6 days before the tour starts. Her words say this has nothing to do with Gaga but her actions are making it about Gaga.

She’s still being nice to Gaga because she wants to leave the door open to coming back on tour (who would wanna give up that salary) but on the condition that Montana replaces Richie. She’s getting the fans fired up in the hope that it’ll light a fire under Gaga’s butt, similar to how she got the other dancers fired up. That didn’t work either.

She’s running out of options and So it seems she not only using the dancers as collateral she’s now using the fans. That doesn’t sit right with me and I’ve seen employees employ this tactic before and it always fails. You can’t try to sideline someone in a higher position than you, use the abuse card and then expect to be hired back in a more senior role than before lol.

I’m sure the abuse she and the others speak of is legit to a certain extent but if you’re gonna go so public with this then why not just reveal everything? Because she’s trying to use the fans (and potentially media) as leverage/collateral for her personal gain. I’m not discrediting her claims of abuse but I’m just trying to see it from a boss’s perspective. Because she chose to go public with this 6 days before the tour, I believe she’s already severed any remaining trust and any chance of being re-employed is lost. I think she knows that too so she’s dangling the “abuse” allegations as bait like “give me what I want or I’ll go even more public”.

She knows ties have been severed since last year and she’s still not happy… so What is it she wants?

1. Re-employment on the agreement of a higher salary / promotion to a more senior position.

2. If that’s not possible, she’ll want a hefty severance package in exchange for not pursuing legal action over the abuse claims.

3. To be paid off so she doesn’t reveal more information about the abuse (hence why she hasn’t yet given specifics). She’s hoping management will reach out.

Once she realizes no one is going to do any of that for her she’ll escalate further than she has done today and start speaking in more detail about the abuse because she has nothing left to lose. Mark my words.

Afterall, where there’s blame there’s a claim.

Hard agree, BUT I went for the first time on stan twitter in ages...

I saw way more fans slamming Gaga (let's be honest, unless he physically or s*xually abused someone there is no way she can fire him less than a week before a multi million dollar tour) and saw racist hate slung at Richey along with the Trump allegation which seems based on basically nothing. I am not defending Richey at all-he's clearly sh*tty-but Gaga's the one eating sh*t on this and it's wild (and depressing) how some twitter stans decided that Richey being a mentally abusive boss means it is okay for them to send him death threats/racist hate.

Many of the tweets are worded (by fans, no less) to make it sound like Gaga was mentally abusive, lots of tweets of how can Gaga claim to be a "kindness punk, she's fake", and then people running over to LaurieAnn of all people.

I've been a LM since the beginning, but this fandom is so toxic (particularly on twitter) and I'm really sick of the racist section.

Morphine Prince

One of her biggest mistakes is keeping these people on her team just cause they’re her friends.

Yes, it’s nice for a while but sometimes you just have to switch it up.

NGL, I don't want to victim blame, but I think there's some truth in this and fans are absolutely playing into it. I've seen fans go "all of her dancers quit" when apparently some of these dancers weren't even employed for TCB and it is like 5 dancers total.

IDK, I think Richey probably is a terrible boss and mentally abusive to Montana. I think the members of the Haus who are super into social media (not Gaga) are aware that fans hate him. But twitter seems to be wildly misrepresenting what's actually going on, and there's a disgusting racist section of fans currently going after Richey right now that's gross asf.
