I think this demonstrates our need to further educate society on trans identity; ignorance is obvious from that woman’s reaction in the bathroom. As well, I’ve never felt comfortable with the idea of communal bathrooms in general. I’m not trans, but I prefer to use disabled toilets (I’m legally disabled so there is no moral qualm with me using them) or those single toilet bathrooms. I think buildings should be installing more of these and maybe replace communal bathrooms with them. We all have a right to privacy, and I’ve always found public bathrooms to be …reducing my dignity?
