I can't believe some clutched their pearls. There were way more explicit sex scenes in AHS (and Adam had nude, kind of gross sex scenes on Girls). I feel like one of the only reasons people are scandalized (besides being a sex scene in general), is the OTT bouncing and shaking, & the noises she makes, lmao. The tone is so comical, and they're both still clothed.

I though there was a similar issue with tone in The Last Duel (which is a better film, even if I enjoyed Gucci a lot more). Ben's over the top bit, while meant to be 'comedic' relief, was just jarring in contrast to everyone else. And I absolutely get having a 'comic' character in a serious film, but it just didn't work. And Adam-who is a very good actor-came across as almost over the top in The Last Duel imo (Jodie outacted everyone in that movie).

Main problem is Ridley...which is why I'm worried about that Napoleon film :(.

Yeah, I wish he commited to a vision for the movie. It would have been recieved better, and probably would've got some Oscar love. Though, part of me that loves mess likes that HoG just kind of... defies genre at some points.

Adam slammed her into that wall SO hard.  I felt kind of bad for her. It was complete Aries/Scorpio energy. Her AHS co-stars were really gentle with her in comparison.

That said, I'm kind of curious to see them both in another (horny) movie together that is more thoughfully made and non-comical (manifesting Gaga/Driver directed by Tom Ford ). He matches her intense energy IMO.
