You are deluded, Corbyn will never be anywhere near power. He isn’t even a Labour member anymore, the tories will be electing their new leader and as a consequence Prime Minister. Not all issues revolve around Ukraine

Took your time Dolly :ohwell: expected you to arrive hours ago!

But honestly, it’s not even worth engaging with them. That person is just trolling the thread and constantly derailing.

OT: I hope for the UK's sake that this sends a message to the people in power. Their corruption eventually catches up to them, and I hope that those people in the government who genuinely do want to be forces for good get the opportunity to do so.

Ah yes, it appears he was suspended for his history of antisemitism. Thank god that there are still leaders with values and decency in the Labour party, unlike some supporters  who find excuses and justification for this pro-putin antisemite saying that he would've been 1000 times better. I would say they're the same problem that trump supporters represent in America, yet another reason that the horse shoe theory is very true sometimes.

Oh and the new Labour leader seems to have a clear message for them:

Responding to the report, Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said it was "a day of shame for the Labour Party" and apologised to the Jewish community.

"And if - after all the pain, all the grief, and all the evidence in this report, there are still those who think there's no problem with anti-Semitism in the Labour Party, that it's all exaggerated, or a factional attack, then, frankly, you are part of the problem too. And you should be nowhere near the Labour Party either."

And what's the other thing? I'm obsessed with Ukraine? Right... Just happens to be the biggest crises facing us today, just happens that whenever there is a leadership swap, you hope that the replacement is competent to tackle the biggest crisis we face at the moment. But somehow that notion angered a lot of people. Maybe I should just turn a blind eye to antisemitism and pro-putin apologism and be inconsiderate about all the deaths that are happening today on the european continent since it doesn't affect me personally.

I am more worried about the cost of living rather than some invasion in the furthest reach of Europe. I just want some competent in No. 10 and not have to worry every day about some wannabe fascist like Boris Johnson.

Stop conflating very logical reasoning for not wanting to go to war with a lack of care for what's happening in Ukraine. It isn't that we don't care, but as unfortunately dark as the idea is, we can't just go marching into battle because they've been invaded. International politics is far, far too delicate to come out guns ablazing, especially when the US and the UK both are in no state to be offering any assistance to anyone.

As much as I and so many others would love to step in and help on the ground, that's exactly what Putin wants us to. He's looking for any and every excuse to declare war on the west because he knows a world war is the easiest route to Russia once more becoming a near global power. We can't allow that to happen, especially when there's absolutely nothing to say we'll even win.

What does this have to do with sending troops to Ukraine? I only posted a video of Jeremy Corbyn, saying outrageous things and being an apologist for Putin, saying that hopefully Boris replacement won't be someone like him, and some people got outraged by that comment, going to the extreme of defending this pro-Putin antisemite. There is a big difference between saying "we cant go to war with Russia", and straight up pushing Kremlin propaganda, blaming NATO for the war, saying that Ukraine should be demilitarized and "broken up". And you know it. It's disingenuous to conflate the two. The guy seems to even insinuate that Ukraine is working on nuclear weapons or something "cant we go back to the day when Ukraine was nuclear free". Completely outrageous.

Once again, you can say that you don't support his views and just move on. We can agree on that. But the way that people are actually defending his antisemitism and pro-Putin apologism is what I find shocking. It appears that the new Labour leadership is radically different than that idiot? So why argue and defend him?

who here is defending the anti-semitism and pro-putin mess? everybody with more than 2 braincells could tell corbyn had the people of england in his heart when running for PM.

it's always so weird how people bring up the anti-semitism but ignore boris' rampant elitism, sexism, homophobia, racism and islamophobia. we should focus on THAT since this thread is about boris.

You: Posts incoherent rants that are not related to thread.

You: fine, I will stop posting

You: continues to post incoherent rants that are not related to thread.

Just go away, you have derailed this thread with your boring narrative that is not related at all to the topic for 5 pages. If you want to talk about your obsession with a former labour leader from a country you are not from and clearly know nothing about, go and do that. Go and make a thread.

This topic isn’t about Jeremy fu*king Corbyn. I will agree that the war on Ukraine may come up due its relation to the current political situation, but not when it’s being used as a leverage by a right winger to talk about Jeremy fu*king Corbyn.

Yes I believe mods should intervene and stop your personal attacks against me.

I'm only responding to people who are approaching me. How is that derailing? If you don't like my takes on who should be the next leader of the UK, you are fre to make use of the ignore button. But stop with the personal attacks. And I am not a right-winger, a glimpse at my post history will show that. I am someone who opposes extremism whether it is on the left or on the right.
