I understand the frustrations, I wish they'd break the filibuster just as much as you, but to say that the majority hasn't payed off is disingenuous. Like if i am in their place, i would be just praying every single time i get out of my house. It's been said infinite times, but some things has to be done. Children are watching and im scared what these things make them think and what such events will turn them into when they get older if they are not brought up well. It's a surreal feeling texting my coworkers who live up there and making sure that them and their kiddos were safe. They didn't cancel our city's fireworks, despite everywhere else cancelling. It feels like I've been holding in my breath all day; the most relief I've had is knowing the main suspect is in custody. Those poor families.
