Sis we won't give a f*ck, even if we like Bradley, but the GP will...like outside of fandom she and he and still linked together in some ways a la Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling or other movie stars who work together (or famously starred together in a film). They are still a pop culture reference...one of the nighttime shows in the US literally referenced the Oscar performance a few months back.

That said, I don't think it's a bad thing. It's very common for stars to work together on multiple projects (like Emma and Ryan) if they have good chemistry, get along, and the public likes seeing them act together. Unless she and BCoop do ASIB 2.0, it's fine.

Ok wait... thelast time I read the update on Gaga's appearance in J2 she was in talks. Did I miss the agreement part? This news was stated as if Gaga already had agreed to play HQ. Is it certain at this point?

It sounds like it is all about a A Star Is Born reunion

- Todd Phillips directing the 2 Joker movies and producing ASIB

- Bradley Cooper starring, directing & producing ASIB and producing Joker and joining the 2nd movie.

- Lady Gaga starring in ASIB and producing music soundtrack. And most definitely starring in Joker 2.

- Both ASIB and Joker 2 being musical movies

Yes, some of the GP may like to see them reunite on big screen but it does not sound like a good idea just a few years after ASIB. People will always associate her acting career with Bradley and that is not the best thing imo.

They are probably true friends who understand each other artistic vision. The old team is with a slightly different lineup.

I wonder if Gaga is writing the music too. In a Gucci interview she said that she would like to work on a musical once. I thought then, she was already working on something.

I think it would add in an element of fun for the audience, especially if he's someone Harley (or Harleen in this adaptation?) is close with.

I have a hard time imagining what the songs from a Joker musical would sound like. If she's doing it, I hope she also calls in some big guns, Hillary Lindsay etc. If nothing else, the music has got to be really good.

I read that Todd Phillips said the main theme of Joker, to him, is "the power of kindness" so I think Gaga and him must have like a spiritual connection
