Gerrymandering can only go so far, and once it falls apart, it falls apart quickly: A plan which depends on having, say, 52% of the vote in three different districts (instead of 70% of the vote in one district and 49% of the vote in two other districts) stops working once the Democratic party has 3% more voters.

The senate might take longer, but once we get the next blue wave, we can snowball things with stuff like Puerto Rico and DC statehood, and eliminating or severely restricting the filibuster. Texas will split to retaliate (you don’t need federal congress to approve Texas splitting), but then California will probably split in retaliation to that (and maybe, as a result, southern California will be more sensible with its water policies)[1].

Republicans have lost senate seats in reliably red states for a lot less than taking abortion away from women (e.g. Took Akin in 2012).

[1] Southern California takes a lot of water from northern California, and it’s a point of political contention.

In a sad way, i'm not surprised. America is regressing, every threads became more and more astonishing in a bad way. I honestly see America being so divided to a point that in the future that a civil war could start. 

And btw, im not a specialist but if im not misunderstanding.. there is nothing on the Bible about abortion. The word is not even mentioned. Their stupid claims are not even logical.

Correction, it was another woman that shot her. She wasn't charged with anything

The woman who was shot paid a $50,000 bond but the charges were eventually dropped. But that's the kind of situation that happens when women are legally nothing more than incubation chambers.

Stonewall was a riot. There were riots during the civil rights movement. Women’s independent in Mexico were preceded by riots of strong women.

Our country is already on fire and on its way to hell. They do not respect us, our lives, our autonomy, our personhood, our health, our being, nothing. Not a single thing.
