Not y’all comparing Beyoncé’s track to chromatica.

some corny a$$ users always do this

remember when they had the audacity to imply that ARTPOP introduced hyperpop to the mainstream scene?

now all of the sudden chromatica is THE standard for modern HOUSE music?

This feels a bit more sophisticated than dua lipa or chromatica In my humble opinion. Im interested to see what she does with the album. I feel like Gaga tried the house route but didn’t go deep enough and chromatica ended up trying to jump on the KPOP bandwagon and attract younger fans à la Fortnite and Minecraft

Long time lurker, first time writer, and I just need to say that the hypocrisy is this thread is rampant.

How the hell are you 🚬’s saying this is repetitive and boring when half of Chromatica sounds the same if not less? This is some authentic, genuine old school black queer house music right here, the latter is basic ass European house. I love Chromatica but I can recognize the racial bias from most of these people here. The girls that get it, get it, and the girls that don’t, dont!

Just admit some people don't like the music. It's not that deep. And racial bias? Gosh you need to relax and stop coming up with these nonsense "analysis" in your brain.

I just don't see how this song translates to the following review :flop:

"Soaring vocals and fierce beats combine and in a split second I’m transported back to the clubs of my youth. I want to get up and start throwing moves… music that will unite so many on the dance floor, music that touches your soul.“

I wasn’t expecting this AT ALL and while I’m not in love with it I am IN LOVE with this direction and what this album and era are gonna serve. It’s giving early 2000s club music and I’m sooooooo here for it.

Loool exactly. I mean chromatica has a couple of good tracks don’t get me wrong. (ROM/Babylon/sine from above) but I think it landed kinda flat sonically. I think she was trying too hard to appeal to the “gaymers” that she isolated the slightly older fans. Like what 30 year old is going around singing “I’m a plastic doll” like… lol

I’d rather have these “analyses in my brain” that are educated and are direct words that came from the black community than be racially ignorant, biased and uneducated. Maybe listen to what these communities are saying yourself instead of defending your biases with ignorance!

Not y’all comparing Beyoncé’s track to chromatica. Beyoncé’s sounds like something you’d hear at the Berghain club in Berlin. Most of Bloodpops productions on chromatica sound like you let a high school student go wild on some free DJ software lol

Beyonce going for more Chicago house, Chromatica was more UK House

But Gaga was one of the first big artists to pivot to that sound over the past couple years :lolly:

That's why little monsters, and consequently lady Gaga, are so hated on internet. It's not because they are evil and mean (like Swifties or armies), but because they treat everything Gaga does as if she invented it and everyone that does does something of the same genre after her, only did because of her.
