Jaswiendre Singh, a gas station owner and his wife in Phoenix decided to keep prices at their pump about 50 cents a gallon lower than in the rest of the city and he says his sales from his store can help offset the losses from the gas sales

When asked why they are doing that he says he believes when you have something you should share and help others. He also said his religious beliefs as a Sihk also contributed to his decision

He also said he tries to teach the principles of sharing into his children

Also, I'm from India and Sikhs are genuinely a beautiful community. If you ever visit one of their temples, you'll find the richest of them hand preparing meals in community kitchens for people that can't afford a meal. They also converted several of their temples as hospitals during the Covid surge.

This is so beautiful

I live in Canada's Indian Capital (the article doesn't say if they are Indian but the last name does suggest so). They are by far the most dominant immigrant base here and their numbers at one point actually surpassed Canadians in my city

They are like the most problematic free neighbours and ppl to have ever. U almost never see an Indian that is a shady gangster, a drunk beggar or someone violent.

They get so much racism here cuz the white and black population don't like the way their "food smells" or the fact that they often live in very large generational households as per their tradition (as if that's anyone's business) etc.

It's so stupid. When I have Indian neighbors it's a relief cuz I know they won't give me any problems :legend:
