Americano 31,061
This wasn't posted in news, but it is important so I'm posting it here. According to the latest Billboard BoxScore report, the Born This Way Ball has continued to roar ahead with career-defining success. With a broad range of sold-out dates in Latin America, from Peru to Brazil to Norway, the tour will blow past $200-$250 MILLION DOLLARS in gross earnings. Despite reports of struggling sales, nearly every date in Latin America sold out. ONE Russian date alone grossed over $4 million dollars. The tour is on track to become one of the top earning tours in music history, joining The Monster Ball with the mega-success (and surpassing Gaga's former tour.) To put it in perspective, the tour has surpassed some past Madonna tours. Furthermore, it comes off of the highest selling American album of 2011, which spawned four Top 10 hits and sold over 7 million copies worldwide. The singles also sold over 25 million copies in 2011. Lady Gaga is due to release her follow-up, ARTPOP, by the year 2015. Ray of Light 8,130
This is just incredible! That her touring gross can compare to those of artists that have been around for 30+ years Oh and she's so irrelevant now :( Maybe she should just retire, I mean BTW was a flop because she doesn't know how to handle herself and her career :(
