JPM 781
Next tour... ASIA She can easily sell out 2 or even 3 shows in Tokyo Dome Insted of doing 4 arena show in Hong Kong, may do 2 Stadiums shows, since the Hong Kong holds 40k people and a lot of people that went to the 1st concert can go to the 2nd one. AUSTRALIA She also can do even 3 shows in the AAMI Stadium in Melbourne that holds 30k people. And 2 dates in the Sidney football Stadium for 45k each night EUROPE Nothing change here, but next time she may go to Portugal and Poland and do 2 arena dates or a stadium one in Madrid insted of Barcelona.... And also do more shows at the MEN Arena in Manchester. LATIN AMERICA The next time, she will not being competing with Madonna, so she will easily sell out cities like Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Santiago and Mexico City. She may also tour other cities in these coutries she didn't with the BTW Ball, like Cordoba in Argentina, Salvador/Brasilia in Brazil and Moterrey in Mexico. Tbh, if ARTPOP is bigger than BTW which will be hard in Japan, Japan was the only place in the world that enjoyed BTW more than TH+TFM, she can sell out even FOUR times the Tokyo Dome + 2 time the Fukuoka Dome. Yes, 2 stadium shows in Hong Kong and one stadium show respectively in Beijing and Shanghai. For Australia she had to do a bigger stadium than AAMI, at first I thought MCG, but it's capacity is 100k people so an average of 70k for concerts, just as much as the sold tickets for TBTWB. Then I thought maybe the Docklands stadium, two sell-outs. Then I thought I again since she's bigger in Melbourne than Sydney, two 70k people shows for Melbourne and 2 45k shows for Sydney but this seems very dreamy for now so she can just play two stadium shows at the Docklands and two at SCG and then during the same leg she can announce extra shows for both cities, just like what Madonna did with the Girlie Show. She did a couple of shows at first and then during the same leg she added extra shows. This works as well. So three shows in Sydney and Melbourne? This way more people can attent more shows, this is the advantage of doing arena shows. In Europe she should just play stadium shows only in the West. elijahfan 26,487
Even though I don't quite understand why the venues max capacity changes from one artist to the other, I guess that's not bad for an alleged 'flop' leg ;) Congrats Gagz Yes, 2 stadium shows in Hong Kong and one stadium show respectively in Beijing and Shanghai. Eeer... is her music even allowed in the People's Republic of China?

She has sold thousands of tickets in these cities for the next tour will be weaker demand .. Eg Mexico City, in 2009 she sold 110.000 tickets and now she has sold only 37.000 ... Same for Madonna, even if she has made incredible numbers, they are still less impressive than her previous tour. So I do not think she will be able to match the figures BTWB Asia for her upcoming tour.

Yes, both singer toured recently in these markets, so it's normal when they comeback the demand is less impressive than the first time she played there. It will be the same on her future tour. It will be the same on her future tour. It really depends, though. Madonna didn't have one hit song when she toured with the MDNA and her prices were higher, it's reasonable. If Gaga really puts out a great chart-topper music with limited cities in the next tour she's going for big but if she plays a show in every possible city... netoschultz 0
The numbers for the South American leg are better than I expected. But you can see easily the ''Buy one, get one free'' and the ''40%, 60% and 70% off'' in those numbers.. Mexico City, the average price is $71.. San Jose is $57.. Santiago is $67.. The worst is in Lima and Asuncion, the average price is $48 and $41.. Yes she filled up thos stadiums, but with huge discounts and the ''buy one, get one free''.. If you look at the average price of Madonna in South America : Medellin, Colombia 90,018 people $14,741,104 Average price : $163 !!! Mexico City, Mexico 84,382 people $11,586,745 Average price : $137 !!! Sao Paulo, Brazil 85,255 people $8,430,677 Average price ; $99 !!! Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 34,709 people $4,332,428 Average price : $125 !!! Porto Alegre, Brazil 42,524 people $7,578,191 Average price : $178 !!! The average price is so huge !! And she filled up these stadiums without discount of promotion.. This look like this when you have regular price. Madonna had a lot of promotions here in Brazil... 50% discount.. tickets free give away..
magicomg 0
Madonna had a lot of promotions here in Brazil... 50% discount.. tickets free give away.. Lady Gaga too, but Madonna's average tickets is still impressive $100, $125 and $178. And she played the twice of what Gaga played in Brazil, and that at regular price with average of $100 to $178. Lady Gaga average price is $79 to 98$ and she get the half of what Madonna did with lower average price.
magicomg 0
Madonna had a lot of promotions here in Brazil... 50% discount.. tickets free give away.. Lady Gaga attendance for Mexico City is 37,000 with $2,6M in gross revenue. Madonna is 84,000, more of the double of what Gaga did and gross $11,5M. Same thing in Sao Paulo, Gaga attract 43,000 people and gross $4,2M. Madonna make also the double with 85,000 people and gross $8,4M, But the most impressive thing is in Porto Alegre, Gaga attract 9,000 people and gross $0,9M and Madonna attracted 42,000 people dans gross $7,5M. In Colombia too it's pretty a huge difference, Gaga did a no-sold out show with 30,000 people and gross $2,4M. Madonna make two shows there with 90,000 people and gross a incredible $14,7M. I love Gaga but I admit she floped in SA compare to Madonna.

Gaga has started in August.. Last time Madonna has performed for 200.000 in 4 sold out shows in São Paulo and 110.000 in 2 sold out shows in Rio... Madonna has performed 2 concerts in São Paulo grossing 8.4 milion.. Gaga has performed 1 concert and grossed 4.2.. Madonna's tickets were more expensive than Gaga's.. São Paulo is Brazil's biggest city.. with over 12 milion of people and she only performed for 84k compared to 196k last tour... Porto Alegre is 8th biggest city.. with over 1.8 milion of people and she performed for 40k.. half of São Paulo.. Porto Alegre was selling 1 month before the show... yeah.. she had just one month to sell.. that's why it wasn't too big In Colombia.. Madonna hasn't visited yet.. it's the first time.. like in 45678297617819273 years of her career.. it's obvious that she would sell great there.. Yes but it was the first time for Gaga too in South America.. Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, etc. Madonna two shows in Colombia sold out under 2 weeks. When it the first time an artist is coming, tickets sold quickly, but this is not what happens for Gaga, this was not a big event. Madonna has sold over 100,000 tickets the first 2 days when tickets were available. This is 20,000 tickets more of what Gaga made with her Brazilian tour with 3 months on sale. I don't like too much Madonna, but I admit her numbers are less impressive than her previous tour, but this is still amazing.

Of course she would sold out quickly Colombia.. It is the first time in years and years... let's see if she comes back next tour... Madonna has performed in Chile for the fist time in 2008 and she has sold out 140.000 tickets in 2 dates. this time she hasn't sold 40k. And you can't say if the 100.000 tickets in 2 days are true... cause' the promoter said this.. and he said Madonna would be performing for 65k in Rio.. 58k for the first date in São Paulo and 50k for the second date.. The tickets were too expensive for our market... And of course it was a big event.. She has sold in pre-sale 20k in Chile.. thousands and thousands of tickets sold in other countries... If in some countries she had troubles to sell out.. its because of the prices... general public wouldn't pay a 500 USD to a seat in Chile or 375 USD for a GA in Brazil... just the fans... last time.. the most expensive ticket for Madonna was 300 USD.. this time were 425 USD.. 125 dollars.. it's a big value..
