I hate him as much as the next person but the thought of Nadine Dorris or liz truss running things scares me. They are horrid.

Realistically, Tory members would not vote for both of them. They know they would lose 2024. My money is on Jeremy Hunt or Penny Mourdant. I’d rather have the former

I have no idea if I want him to win or lose this.  If he wins, the public continues to turn on him and we could finally kick the tories out in 2024… if he loses though they could replace him and some voters flock back to the conservatives.  We just don’t know :enigma:

The way the polls are right now, Labour will be a minority Government and I think the tories are destined to lose. The last Labour Government lasted 13 years (with 1 leadership change). When Boris is replaced, this will be their 4 leadership change in the 14 years they have power. I think whoever is in, the tories will be in opposition.

Hopefully.  I don’t think even if the conservatives win with a minority that any party would go into coalition with them so we could get a left leaning alliance.  I just hope they change our voting system to PR so the tories will be locked out for decades

I’m hoping a Labour & Lib Dem pact (but no mention because the tories will take advantage). No way Labour would enter a pact with the SNP

I think it would depend on numbers.  I know if we elect a minority government then there will be an expectation and possibly a need for another election.  I think Labour, Lib Dems, Greens and the SNP could all agree to form a coalition if it meant changing to proportional representation (as it benefits all of them) before dissolving government and holding another election.  It would mean all of them are set to make big gains at the tories’ expense after they’ve fiddled with and benefits from fptp.

I personally would love a Labour/SNP coalition as I believe they stand for many of the same things but I agree, if the SNP refused to drop their want for another Scottish referendum I think Labour would be very hesitant to agree to working with them.

I would personally love a Labour/SNP coalition but I extremely don’t want it because that’s why Cameron won in 2015 because of the threat of a Lab/SNP coalition. The main objective for Labour is get the tories out but I think an SNP coalition will be ruled out.

When can we expect the results?

Voting doesn’t last that long I believe, most of them have already voted. If I had to guess within a few hours but I don’t know much about it
