With its 81-rung fall (No. 16  to No. 97)on the Hot 100, “We Cry Together” breaks the record for the biggest one-week positional drop within the chart, previously held by  A$AP Ferg’s “Move Ya Hips,” featuring Nicki Minaj and MadeinTYO: 80 spots (No. 19 to No. 99, in August 2020).

Among falls from No. 1, Taylor Swift set the record when “Willow” plunged from its debut at the top spot to No. 38 in January 2021.

I hate that because he’s actually extremely talented + a good person, he doesn’t deserve this… Nicki should’ve had it :neyde:

Not much of a loss, it’s crazy that a song from an album with a convicted sexual predator on it charted so high to begin with.

The song went viral because it's a fight between a couple to a beat, which was really really clever.

It's a great song, but it was shocking it was ever that high. It's not a single or anything.

Amazing album.

Not really shocking lol no one is like wow what a great conversation! They’re like holy f*ck this is a really cool way of bridging rap and spoken word with a particularly exceptional vocal performance by Paige. It charted because it’s incredibly well done and a standout while some of the rest of the album is muddled
