Shallow was a rare moment that saw a non-pop song skyrocket. If HMH does well in weeks/months to come then great. If not, then it’s not the end of the world and it was cool to see Gaga involved in another great project. Not everything she does will have enormous commercial success and that’s ok. The movie grossed a record breaking $156 Million this Memorial Day Weekend which is HUGE yet the numbers are pretty low, barely cracking 1 million on Spotify. I do think it will keep gaining views and traction DAILY but just wont top the Billboards. I would compare it to ARUTW, never really charting high but still gaining plays. I also I have a feeling it will quickly rise on Youtube and easily earn 1 Million views a day which is pretty good! Stop the music, Start the drama. This is likely going to be the biggest weekend for the film box office wise so if the movie was going to provide a major boost it would have been now but it hasn't meaning the traction is gone BUT it doesnt matter.
