This is a place where all Gaga's YouTube videos will be compiled in a handy list to give a view of all her video statistics and achievements at a glance. I will give them different headings so you can find specifics. I will update this thread hopefully every 2 weeks so the stats don't get too outdated and this will be the place to go if you want the stats without having to trawl through her YouTube page and work it out yourself. I used to make a much bigger thread than this containing Gaga as well as an additional 84 (!) other artists to compare stats for the last 6 years but that was all too much for me so I've retired it and made a more specific Gaga stat thread as she is what this forum is about and who we want all the details on. And this list will be much quicker and easier to compile for me!

Q: Didn't you make a similar thread to this before?

A: Yes, it was called "Where's your fave?" and combined Gaga as well as many other faves around GGD. I ran it for just under 6 years but it took up so much of my time as it expanded that I had to retire it and make a more specific Gaga thread so we can still gather the stats of the artist we care about the most.

Q: What will this thread contain?

A: As many of Gaga's YouTube stats that I can think of that are relevant. Her subscriber count, how many Vevo certified videos she has, most viewed videos, most liked videos, most viewed and liked per era, most viewed and liked audio videos, most viewed and liked remix videos, most viewed and liked live videos, most viewed and liked live videos outside her official channel, most viewed and liked general videos outside her channel, most viewed and liked acting clips and the next videos to get certified. I was originally thinking of making lists for her lyric videos and making of videos but she has so few that there's not much point. It goes without saying that the video must be an official Gaga Vevo upload to be counted apart from the lists where other channels videos are the focus.

Q: What does it mean by Vevo certified?

A: The Vevo certified honour is given to Vevo videos on YouTube with views of 100 million or more. The aim is to give Gaga as many of these as possible. The honour isn't as prestigious as it used to be now so many artists have achieved this but in my world, it's still a thing!

Q: Gaga has 2 different YouTube channels: one called Lady Gaga and one called LadyGagaVEVO - how are they different?

A: The general Lady Gaga page has all videos Gaga's ever made, including super random short clips for her fans. Her Vevo page is centered around actual music video and general music related content spefically. The stats are the same on both channels, but the Vevo one is more condensed. I will be using the official Lady Gaga page as it contains lots of relevant videos that LadyGagaVevo does not contain.

Q: Why do you separate her music video stats from the stats of her other videos?

A: Because her music videos are the most important. Live videos, audio videos, etc. are all secondary, so while they still matter, as an artist, her music video output is her most imperative, so everything else will get separated into its own list.

Q: Some of Gaga's videos have 2 versions, like G.U.Y., which have over 100 million views each, why are they not regarded as 2 separate certified videos?

A: Yes, back in the day, Gaga made 2 versions of some videos - Paparazzi has 3, Telephone has 2 and G.U.Y. has 2. This allowed her to make explicit versions and shorter versions. However, the bulk of the video remains and all that matters is the original upload. As I understand it, Vevo only counts one version towards its Vevo counts, so artists can't artificially inflate their certified tally with modifications of the same video. It must be the original long form video that gets 100 million for me to regard it as certified, the shortened form will count as an overall certified video but it will not duplicate in the certified music videos list. Luckily, all Gaga's second versions of videos have been certified in and of themselves apart from the other 2 versions of Paparazzi, so it may not even be an issue henceforth. Basically, views and likes per video are their own thing. Video stats are all treated respectively.

Q: Why are some of these stats wrong, showing less than what's actually on YouTube?

A: Because I can't update the thread every day, I have life commitments as well. The stats are only meant to be a general idea, which is why I don't whittle it down to how many hundredth's of views a 500 million viewed video has, for example. The more general the stats are, the higher likelihood they will be relevant for 2 weeks. YouTube now makes it so you can't see how many specific likes a video has, so there's no reason why views need to be totally exact either. If Gaga puts out a video that is gaining crazy likes and views, I obviously won't keep up with it in real time, so if anything, it means you get to anticipate the sight of a massive load of views and likes for a new video when it gets updated 2 weeks later.

Q: How often will you update this thread?

A: Every 2 weeks, ideally every second Monday. That way, the stats won't be too similar all the time, there will be something worthwhile for me to update every time and it means I get a break from it every other week!

As much as some of your predictions seem accurate, I don't know about these. ROM currently has 365 million views and has done so in just over 2 years. Do you really think it'll take as long as 14 months to get another 35 million views? And as for MTN, ok, its views are going really slow but it's at 93.8 million now. Will 6.2 million views really take 3 whole years? And what are your predictions for HMH? I'm really interested to know how these things are predicted anyway if they're not super close to their milestones.

I used Kworb’s stats page and just compiled all the information:

They have algorithms for tracking basically every Music Video on YouTube.

Hold My Hand is predicted to reach 100M in August. 

For instance Marry the Night (https://kworb.net/youtube/video/cggNqDAtJYU.html) only had 5,699 views yesterday.  

It did 4.8M views in 2020 and 3.6M views in 2021. This year so far it’s gained 1.08M views so it’s not gaining as much as we think.

Wow, the last response to this thread was over 1.5 years ago! I think I'm definitely warranted to respond again, then. I've noticed that for the longest time, there's been 2 errors on the most viewed/liked audio section - turns out Americano and Government Hooker have a lot more likes than I realised. I guess when I originally made this thread, I didn't even bother checking their likes and skimmed over them considering their view count was lower than the 10th most viewed audio video so was highly doubtful they'd have more likes than any videos in the top 10, but I underestimated how popular they were! They've been updated which has now made that section look a lot more impressive. 

I hope people are still looking at this thread after all this time, so with that in mind, I hope to still keep it going (and look at its duplicate on GGB as well). Thanks for any views!

Just a quick update. Die With A Smile has now become Gaga's first Vevo certified video in quite a while and has gone right up to #4 in her most liked videos. And I've added a whopping 3 new sections! Seeing as there's so many Gaga videos that are on other channels as they're considered the property of a news station/tv show/public property, they're not on her channel but they totally still deserve to be counted. So, now there's a section of Gaga's live videos that aren't on her channel, general Gaga videos that aren't on her channel (composed of interviews, accpetance speeches, etc) and her official acting clips as well. Don't say I'm not good to you!
