So yet another Republican who switches parties the second they want to run for office and then have a “change of heart” after they get it 🙄

good news is that he’s not polling well in runoff election polls, polling 10% behind the other front runner.

I don't know this guy but can't some centrist maybe just not fully identify with either party cuz they are somewhere in between and they flip flop between them?

 

I certainly don't always support the same party in my country cuz I'm not partisan it depends on situation and plans (and that's despite the fact that we have an extra relevant party of 3 making it easier for you to identify as 1 if ur "more in between")

 

I'd imagine in a Country where there's only 2 major parties of relevance and such a gap between them, for some centrist who are in between them it isn't all that easy to loyally stick to one

My point exactly. The two are so far removed in the US.

 

I can't be shocked at the idea that some centrist are for neither side fully and would potentially flip flop

 

Edit: But of course I'm generalizing in a giving ppl benefit of the doubt for changing parties. A billionaire wanting to take office does usually suggest certain motives
