NichuuB 43,788
It feels like every totalitarian nation is leading to invade some long desired territory at the same rime, and the fact that the US is somehow getting involved in everything... Let's pray for a WWIII doesn't happen Property of @Whale
Gov Hooka 8,008
The US getting involved in nearly every global conflict and still nearly all of you haven’t connected the dots... it’s Russia’s fault, China’s fault, Iraq’s fault, Syria’s fault but somehow Washington is involved in all of these conflicts. Taiwan is a puppet state of the West meant to counter increasing Chinese economic and political influence. Japan and South Korea are heavily occupied by the US military and yet China is the bad guy in this situation... Good news is that China isn’t led by an idiot like Russia is and won’t commit to a disastrous campaign.

It's on Russia, and I'd argue Germany and France enabled the situation. In 2005 everyone wanted to let Ukraine join NATO, but Merkel and Chirac blocked them...and then Ukraine begged Germany not do Nord Stream in 2008 after Russia invaded Georgia but Germany was like "nope, f*ck y'all, we're leaning in". 11 hours ago, FATCAT said: In reality, Russia is the only one responsible. Yes, it could have been prevented in hind-sight, but Russia in 2005 was seen as more western-facing. People like Tony Blair thought Putin would be great for Russia & peace. It's so hard to predict these things so far out. Hell, even a few months ago the world thought Ukraine would fall quickly. But yea, the west should have acted sooner, like 2008 & 2014. John Mearsheimer explains it better than I ever can but it is completely disingenuous and false to put the blame entirely on Russia when the West knew that this is exactly how they would react to their actions and decided to go through with their agenda anyway. HorusRa2 5,005
this is like the 3rd time the white house has had to backtrack Bidens incendiary and careless comments about commitments of us troops in direct military conflict. either biden has no idea of what he is saying or he is scolded behind the scenes for being the war hawk he is. either reality is deeply troubling.
