As a Dua fan you should know that sometimes hits take time to build up. For example Levitating solo flopped, Levitating remix with Madonna flopped even harder, and then months later Levitating became a hit only after Da Baby’s verse was added. There really isn’t a need to bring serious issues into it. It’s a film, & it’s going to be a blockbuster. It’s going to expose her to a different type of audience. Song is really great too. That’s about all there is to it. If you can’t get past the military propaganda of the first film, the decisions made back then by the films company, the beliefs of Tom Cruise etc. then don’t buy a ticket this time round. Do people realize this is a fictional summer blockbuster and not documentary propaganda? I mean, when you go grocery shopping do you Google every product you buy to see how you can connect it to some world problem? The time commitment though. The mods absolutely care, and do a lot to make this a more positive space - don't blame them. It's the terminally online that are at fault here. Some people have an insatiable need to be critical of all things at all time, and can only think in terms of discourse instead of just seeing things as they are.
