Also, there will of course be a pre-line, it doesn't become "every man for themselves"....Gaga's team arrives the night before to check the line. It's now a few shows later and people are still getting there before 8am. At the last few shows the un-official line is becoming the official line BUT that only happened because everyone agreed with it. In LA some people showed up at 8am and somehow got a lower number than me (I got there 3am). Gaga's team do say they DO NOT honour the numbering system and thats exactly what happens. It only works if everyone respects it. They did say when they get to colder places like NY that they will be sending people away for obvious reasons. The reason they didn't use the rules at the past few shows is because it's not freezing here. In some places like NYC it may possibly be snowing, So yeah they will be sending campers away. But her team does NOT always check the line the day before. Also i don't know why everyone is making NY out to be like the hunger games. From what i could make out they will be sending people away the day before because of safety reasons and when they are doing that they will identify the key holder. At 8am there will be a huge group of us. Then they will choose a small group of us (Maybe 10-20 at a time) to randomly take into the line. Now if you want a good spot at MSG i'd say get on the day between 12am - 5am. Most people i'v talked to are getting there at 6am or 7am. Check-in is from 4:30PM – 6:00 PM. Here you will check-in and receive your merchandise, credentials, and additional information about your package. Photo identification of the original package purchaser is required at the time of check-in. Once you enter this point, your ticket will be scanned or ripped and the venue will enforce a “No Ins-and-Outs†policy. As the original package purchaser, you and all members of your party must be in attendance at check-in and enter the venue together. Note: There will be no late admittance, so please be on time. LINE UP ETIQUETTE: The GOVERNMENT HOOKER package does not entitle entry into the Monster Pit, however it provides you with the first opportunity to a premium location outside the pit as you will be the first people into the General Admission section of the arena. MERCHANDISE: You will receive the merchandise elements of your package at check-in. These items were hand-selected by Lady Gaga for YOU, her biggest fans! The collectible laminate is commemorative only and does not gain or authorize access into the venue or backstage. Note: Your merchandise is distributed night of show during the above check-in time. If you are unable to arrive during this time, it may result in the forfeiture of receiving your merchandise items. SHOW TIME: 7:30 PM Times are subject to change. ONSITE EVENT STAFF: Caleb Bolded my concerns. I'm wanting to forfeit the early entry part of the ticket so I'll be back in the line for the Pit at 4pm. Am I allowed to get my merchandise as long as a friend holds my spot. Also, what's the deal with them tearing the ticket? They don't do this when you pick up the merch do they because I'll need it for when the Pit line is let in! Also, which one is Caleb?
