There are plenty of countries disliked in Europe and we got top 5 a few years ago. The reason we don't win is because we send **** songs and the BBC think sending ex-popstars will garner us extra points. The formula is easy, make a song that transcends both sides of Europe which has a young (previously unknown) attractive girl with a great voice. It needs to be simple and it needs to be catchy. I hate that everyone thinks of the UK as anti-European, we're not that bad... the only reason people are thinking it now is because our government is obsessive about it but to be honest the majority of the UK didn't even vote them in.
