I swear when it’s a man abusing a woman I don’t see this much outrage and mockery. Like sure there’s a lot of backlash when that happens but this is A LOT how much Amber is getting. And I don’t mean she should be defended and coddled, she is an abuser. But people are getting too comfortable with these attitudes towards her and I don’t like the implications of that, like they’re just using it as an opportunity to be misogynistic.

Also hate how sensationalized this case has become, like no one really cares about the actual abuse being discussed, they just view this as a game.

That's what I don't get about alleged 'abuse' cases. It's always a 'fight' and there's always supposed to be the 'victim' in every case and while yes many times it is one sided and clearly a case of someone being unfairly taken advantage of, what if both sides were equally as toxic and aggressive to each other? Just that most times one party comes out more scathed than the other? Is power dynamic or gender then taken into account here?

as a victim of abuse seeing someone’s false allegations being torn to shreds is good because hell it’s gonna make it better for people to actually tell their story. What Amber did and is doing is harmful. Period. She has done NOTHING good for victims of abuse in any form.

The main issue is Amber pretty much said she was the victim and was never mutually toxic. I do think her and Johnny were majorly toxic and definitely had some dr*gged out/drunk fights but I genuinely do not believe Johnny ever laid a hand on her like she said. All the evidence provided was easily debunked and falsified, alongside the timelines and her own accounts contradicting eachother.

the evidence showing Johnny was abused is pretty much cut and dry irrefutable evidence  considering the timeline, photos, and own words from Amber. 
 

if there was a court case saying they were mutually abusive in some form, I don’t think this would’ve been as big. What made it big was how absolutely crazy Amber made it out to be when it wasn’t that.

She lied, she took advantage of the MeToo movement and the mentality ya’ll have been pushing of ‘believe all women’. It’s all coming back to bite her in the ass now. This should be a lesson for us too to stop going from one extreme to another, in this case from ‘not taking this matter seriously enough’ to ‘believing every woman’s claim from the get go’. There should always be room for investigation before jumping to conclusions. Also, in her defense, while I do think she needs to take responsability, she also does indeed seem to be very mentally ill and the internet mocking her is just putting their foot in their own mouth because the internet is also the one SCREAMING about mental health awarness. WELL HERE IT IS, and look at the way we goes about it.
