Why is he garbage? The venues security detail NOT doing their job isn’t his fault. Could he have called out the incident? Sure. But that responsibility doesn’t fall on him just because we’ve other performers take notice. But let’s not act like there haven’t been events where other performers failed to notice incidents going on in the crowd. He had all but been blacklisted after the incident and ghosted everything. It’s time for him to return

He encouraged a dude at a venue to jump off a ledge and the guy became disabled afterwards. He encourages crowds to rush the stage and through security. And this was all before the Astroworld tragedy.

Have you ever been to any music event other than a pop girl? Most festivals/raves/rock shows have the crowd do mosh pits and it gets a bit aggressive. That isn’t anything new.

Been a silent member of ggd for over 10 years. Only recently made an account when the chromatica ball was announced the first time to see if any other people were going to the same show as me lol. I’m just voicing my opinion. I’ve been going to live shows for over 15 years of all genres and it’s pretty normal for the performer to literally command the crowd and in some shows it does get a bit aggressive. Depending on the type of show. Not trying to start any negative convos here. Just voicing my opinion

Lol yes this again 😂😂  venues literally hire security which should be constantly scouring through the audience at all times throughout the show making sure nobody is smoking etc etc etc. Just because some artists stop shows because they noticed something off in the audience doesn’t mean it’s their responsibility. There is a SECURITY team hired literally to do that so the artist is free to perform. This is all from personal experience having been music events where artists have and haven’t stopped shows.

I agree to an extent, but his response to the situation is the main issue...it really makes you question his character

(not to mention previous history of unsafe shows)

I won’t comment on his response because my recollection of that is literally gone lol. What did he have to say about the incident? I could’ve sworn he was apologetic etc etc etc and offered to pay for the funerals but I could be wrong lol. I’m also just a bit more active on the site since I’ve been staying at a hospital while my mom has major surgery and I’m trying to keep my mind off ****

he didn't apologize and offered to pay funerals costs so families wouldn’t be able to sue him for other damages due to accepting some form of payment.

The festival was declared a “mass casualty event”, medical care was overwhelmed but Travis was still performing for over 30 minutes. People were screaming to stop the show.
VIPs with Kylie Jenner were escorted.
Travis said he didn't know what happened until the next day.
