The venues security detail NOT doing their job isn’t his fault. Could he have called out the incident? Sure. But that responsibility doesn’t fall on him just because we’ve other performers take notice. But let’s not act like there haven’t been events where other performers failed to notice incidents going on in the crowd. He had all but been blacklisted after the incident and ghosted everything. Only recently made an account when the chromatica ball was announced the first time to see if any other people were going to the same show as me lol. I’m just voicing my opinion. I’ve been going to live shows for over 15 years of all genres and it’s pretty normal for the performer to literally command the crowd and in some shows it does get a bit aggressive. There is a SECURITY team hired literally to do that so the artist is free to perform. This is all from personal experience having been music events where artists have and haven’t stopped shows. The festival was declared a “mass casualty event”, medical care was overwhelmed but Travis was still performing for over 30 minutes. People were screaming to stop the show.
