A rebrand (or at least a new name) would feel like an admission to underperformance, which 1) I don't think is the case (or is it...?) and 2) doesn't feel like something to make such a big song and dance about.

Slightly intrigued but not exactly excited.

This is giving me 'Aura Beauty' vibes but it just doesn't make sense to drop HL. Unless HL is to become the 'parent brand' with different labels under it for beauty, skin, fragrance etc... I don't know.

They aren’t changing their name or anything. They have been experiencing an unprecedented success (nobody expected an Amazon-only startup to be making £100m per year), which is why they decided to hire big names. One of their new VP is from Fenty Beauty and the other one is from Prada Beauty. They clearly want to rebrand into something bigger and enter brick and mortar stores like Sephora.

Hoping they rebrand into something decent, because that brand has been disappointment over disappointment ever since the launch.

From the initial batch only the eyeliner was worth the attention, and that’s like the most boring product out there.

Their palettes were trash. Hoping they drastically improve the quality and aesthetic.

I really like the glam attacks but that’s about it

Gaga2645

I keep wanting to theorize it’s an REM beauty collab but Gaga likes a tweet about Sephora, we know she’s posting abt testing new eye makeup (could be glitters or lashes, even face products maybe)

Skincare as well but I don’t really trust celebrity skincare bc u know… epione teas (and it’s no shade)

Our Haus Labs could mean N E Thinga

Their lip glosses are what got a lot of great reviews

From what I’ve seen reviewers called them sticky and nothing special

The Casa Gaga collection was a huge success tbh, not to mention their lip oils and brow pencils that are almost always sold out. A lot of my irls can’t stop raving about the eyeliner and the eyebrow pencil. Some even say it’s the best thing they’ve ever used.

Could they just do that as HL? Why rebrand into something bigger? Why can't the existing brand just evolve and move away from Amazon? Feels like they're recognising the current branding of HL is too attached to Amazon and doesn't reflect the best values etc.
