In terms of physical items, it can be verified immediately without the need of a middle man to verify it for you which takes days. Also since everything is becoming digitalized why not turn digital items into NFTs if they have worth anyway? We don't live in a physical world only anymore and the source of power becomes greener with time. I am pretty sure most people consume more power than what it takes to mint an NFT. I don't see anyone react this way to worse things that pollutes our planet, people's priorities are whack. because the energy usage in comparison to actually useful things is STAGGERING there is nothing positive about an NFT that justifies that amount of energy mother, what must i do?
