gumzy3000 6,925 Posted April 27, 2022 Share Posted April 27, 2022 I really enjoyed the first one. The visuals were amazing but the story was just okay. I hope the sequels expand on the story and somehow go even further with the effects. Some people got to see the trailer for Avatar 2 today and said it was "astonishing" so I am looking forward to this. But I think the reason for the long gap is because they had to invent new vfx technology to make it. Apparently underwater mocap didn't exist until Avatar 2.
