It sounds like this is a song built around a score motif that will recur in the film and that likely there will be a radio mix but also a number of moments where we hear the melody or vocal fragments within the score. Sort of like "Young & Beautiful" from Lana in The Great Gatsby.

The movie premieres the next day. I don't think they're releasing it with Billboard in mind. If anything, it'll start getting more attention after people watch the movie, which is at the end of May (theaters). Shallow was a sleeper hit which ended up having a bigger impact later, peaking the week after the Oscars.
