No one said that here tho? The first comment was about people saying Gaga doesn’t know the DOC artists, she’s obviously aware of them and even knows some personally as we’re seeing with this post. No one in this thread was talking about Gaga putting the remix album together or whatever

Because that's what BLOODPOP did! Updating and getting updates from a dozen REMIXERS on twitter, updating and getting updates from INTERSCOPE, getting remixers to sign their contract, paperwork, delays, more paperwork, more delays, etc. 

Boring admin stuff... which is why he was hired for the job! He's a producer by trade. That's HIS job!

I'm pretty sure they didn't hire BloodPop to headline the CHROMATICA BALL... That's GAGA's job!

Why would you expect Gaga to do BloodPop's job?? Yes, every job is valuable, but Gaga is a superstar, her time is precious. For her to do BORING ADMIN STUFF is like a CEO doing a clerk's job, lol. 

I'm not sure what BloodPop did in 2021 besides DoC, but Gaga was super busy. Filming House of Gucci in Italy. Releasing Love for Sale. A dozen jazz concerts. Movie release, premieres, press tour, award season, etc. 

Make no mistake, it wouldn't matter if they hired BloodPop or The Blessed Madonna, there would be NO remix album without Gaga's PERMISSION. Simple as that. 🙂

Gaga listened to and approved the remixes. Pabllo said she waited 5 days for Gaga to approve hers. 

Gaga was really busy in 2021, Love for Sale, concerts, filming House of Gucci in Italy, premieres, press tour, etc.

A remix (which uses elements of the original recording) is not a cover. A remixer needs the artist's approval, or they could be sued for copyright infringement.  

Remember Nicki Minaj had to pay Tracy Chapman $450,000 in a copyright infringement lawsuit - for sampling Tracy's song without permission. Nicki was sued even though she never released her track... It was leaked. 🙄

I'm saying you praised BloodPop and dragged Gaga, even though BOTH of them did their job.

Gaga said she released a remix album because she wanted to support young artists. That was HER idea. 

So, yes, credit goes to Gaga... If not for her there would be NO remix album.

Gaga listened to and approved the remixes. That's her job.

Firstly I've definitely never said I didn't like her since TFM, that's not even my favourite era lol

When did I insist she cancel the tour? I love Chromatica and had golden circle tickets, I absolutely did not want her to cancel

I also don't think I've ever mentioned her having kids. I respect she has a personal life.

The 3 year comment was just a cheap jab at Joanne (her only solo album I didn't like fyi). Wasn't that weeks ago anyway lmao

 

So when did I say she "SHOULD HAVE done BloodPop's job"? I said that she didn't do it, not that she should.

I very much enjoyed DOC, I still listen to it regularly and I'm so glad we got it. If you think me stating that Gaga had little to no involvement in the remix album is a drag, that's on you.
