They says that the majority of young people who voted for Macron in 2017 were absent this time.
It doesn’t surprise me tbh, the rise of extreme and closed opinions from people of my age really shows. No more in between it’s very one thing or the opposite, i found it complicated to have a talk with young people who have a different point of view. 
But the way Macron talked to young people during the past years didn’t give him any favors, Concidered as a young president itself, lot of parents thought he would have done something for the youngest, they feel left down.

It's old people and wealthy people who always elect Macron. You see folks above 60 yo and folks making more than 3k a month largely voting for him and folks with the minimum wage largely voting for her while she beat him with the ones under 35 yo...

In a society where the middle class get poorer quickly it smells good for Lepen on the Long run... Now we're also an aging population so maybe they'll keep betting on that to win and who knows, maybe it will works lol.

I'm not a supporter of Le Pen. All I'm saying is the far left and the far right of Europe are very similar. They are both Putin apologists.

I’m relieved Le Penn didn’t win but I’m not exactly ecstatic about Macron winning.  He does so little to support the working class in France, if he doesn’t start helping them then the far right will continue to grow as we’re seeing with Le Penn growing in popularity every election.

I live in France and here most people would largely be able to save money with 3000 euros a month.
