They keep rising their prices

And canceling new shows that they do not advertise and they are always like "WhY Didn'T It Work"

I'm still not over the OA and their promise of 5 seasons. Just because an episode would cost them around one million :interestinga:

Also even their VFX have started getting cheaper and cheaper

Their problem is that they signed a lot of AAA actors, producers and writers for millions with already greenlit projects without even knowing what they are going to make.

The GoT writers they signed for more than 15 millions are releasing a limited series about a coming of age teenager who starts a band.

I'm not surprised -  there's a massive cost-of-living crisis, not to mention there's now dozens of streaming services to compete against. Really bad decision to up the subscription charges at this particular moment in time.

I'm happy to pay for good content, but I'm massively cutting back on things like this. It feels like a monumental waste of money to pay for several different services each month with only one/maybe two shows that I watch on each. My electricity bill just doubled from what it used to be, my building service charge got raised, my council tax got raised etc. That difference adds up quickly and the money has to come from somewhere, and unfortunately for Netflix and other similar services it means they lose out.
