But she's done that for every single tour, it's kinda boring, and there isn't even any piano on Chromatica (well except the beginning of ROM). I hope at least she uses some sort of electronic/synth keyboard, or as I said maybe have a live orchestra that plays the interludes and the "ballad" segment, just something a bit more interesting and imaginative that fits the sound of the album better. i mean it might be boring to people who have seen her 5-10 times. however without fail, every time i hear of a new local going to a gaga show, the part they rave the most about is the piano segment. there are a ton of people who haven’t seen her ever that bought tickets to this tour too. if she made sure to squeeze a piano segment into her thirteen minute halftime show, she will be sure to squeeze one in here

A tour doesn’t necessarily have to fit the theme of the album imo. I mean most of her discography (dance pop, electronic) doesn’t fit Joanne’s country/rock/acoustic sound yet she was able to make a very cohesive show with a great setlist. I mean she performed Scheisse after John Wayne and it didn’t seem out of place at all tbh. And the fact that there aren’t many piano ballads on Chromatica doesn’t mean a piano segment wouldn’t fit in the show imo. I think the piano segment is a staple in her shows and allows her to really connect with the audience with just her voice and her piano.

Personally I disagree about JWT, I thought it wasn't cohesive at all. How would you describe the look/aesthetic or sound of that show? There really wasn't one. I was happy she did Bloody Mary/Scheiße etc but that's only because I didn't like Joanne lol. The show can't be constant hype for 2 hours, so yes there should be a softer/calm part. But it's the 21st century, there are a million instruments and infinite sounds out there that can create that mood. I just wish we would move away from this idea that simple acoustic piano/guitar = 'raw' 'emotional' 'intimate' 'authentic' That said, will I enjoy every second of the show, including the inevitable piano segment, when I see her live for the first time in 8 years? Yes

REALITY 76,326
Some of y'all are so dramatic. First of all, she was never JUST going to play Chromatica songs. For every tour, she does the respective album's songs, but then she always does some of her older songs. Also, considering Shallow's one of her biggest songs ever, she'd 10000% play it. Why are some of y'all acting so surprised?? 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎

I know what you’re saying. But her piano sections are her trademark and really separate her shows from the typical pop girls. She can actually play the piano and she’ll always want to have that moment. And her pianos are always crazy cool so I’m sure her Chromatica piano will be amazing too. I think a lot of people look forward to the more “intimate” feeling of her piano segments and it really gives her a chance to spotlight her voice as opposed the dance heavy numbers with tons of instruments. Sometimes I think they slow down her shows when she starts then but then I really get into it. But love it or hate it, I’m sure her piano segments are here to stay and an expected element of any Gaga show.

One of the (help me to say) few live performances of Chromatica literally had a piano segment And it was not one of the interludes... Also, she has always played piano re-arrangements of her songs and the piano is a big part of her shows, as already pointed out by others... To me, honestly, isn't boring at all. I wish she had more piano, actually. If I'd live in US, I'd be a habitué of Jazz&Piano ahah
