I know the point is to skip a state every so often to provide an even spread but the entire western US, bar California, was completely left out of the equation. You're kidding. MetLife Stadium is home to the New York Giants and New York Jets. It's bigger than Citi Field - and 9 MILES from Manhattan (25 minutes by car). 🙂 By the way, Gaga said she's "a real Jersey girl" because her grandfather was from New Jersey. She's no snob. What does being a New Yorker have to do with picking a venue anyway. It's not her first tour. The northeast is not snubbed, lol. Some of her fans are NEVER happy. Just a few weeks ago they insisted Gaga was just "waiting for an excuse" to cancel the tour. As if she needed an excuse. None of her contemporaries are touring. Complain all you want. It's obvious her team is being very careful... NOBODY wants a repeat of the Joanne World Tour. she/her/hers

I mean, half of us bought tickets not even sure what kind of package we were getting. In Tokyo, the stadium being used is very random and in the middle of nowhere. Honestly disappointing that she is not using: A) Tokyo Dome (a huge, well located and legendary venue). B) The newly built Olympic Stadium. Probably due to the last minute announcement, she ended up in that Dome that nobody in Tokyo seem to know 😅 I agree that not knowing if any new dates are going to be announced and in which territories is a bit of a bother. But this is the way many tours are done now, Gaga's hardly the only one. But when dates are so few, it would be good for people to know in advance if any new dates are going to be announced, even if it's just by continent, so they know if they should buy tickets and flights to another country or wait and see if their country is still to be announced. Australian fans, for example, must be wondering what to do right now. I wouldn't be surprised, for example, they're considering flying to Japan for these 2 shows as it's nearer to them than travelling to America. It would be good if they knew in advance if Oceania dates are even on the table then they know how to proceed going forward. It would suck if, after buying a non-refundable ticket and flight to Japan, plus hotel, that she announces an Australian date in your very city. But I think why that specific Japanese venue is booked has its reasons. The Tokyo Dome, while big and well-known, it may be a big ask for her to sell 100k tickets for 2 shows at this point in her career. While successful, Chromatica wasn't on BTW's level (her most successful era in Japan, where performed to just under 100k with the tour). The last time she performed there was in 2014, where she played to 50k over 2 stadium dates. So, I really don't think it's wise to give her a massive stadium after being away for so long with an album that wasn't a massive smash. Since she's going from the US to Japan and back again, she needs to do at least 2 dates there to make it worth her while, and selling 100k tickets from one venue may prove tough. 6 hours ago, Sunny21 said: You're kidding. I just thought it would be weird to do a US tour where you don't go to NY, particularly if you're from NY yourself. And I never said anything about being unhappy with the arrangement, just that I didn't understand the spacing of it and the choice of states, that's all. I didn't say she's looking for an excuse to cancel the tour either. I get it, we don't want the tour to end in cancellations again, not after BTWB and JWT. The real snubs are Houston (7M) and Miami (6.1M). They’re massive markets and aren’t near any shows. Nashville is super central to so many states, though... Tennessee is bordered by eight states with several large cities like STL, Louisville, Indianapolis, ATL, Birmingham, Memphis, etc all within a few hours driving distance or like an hour flight. AND Nashville is literally "Music City" and a place where she worked on Joanne at. It's perfect.
