Elizabeth 450
Of course it was a good single choice. To put Beyonce on your song and not release it as a single would be a mistake.
Mariann 301
It was a good choice.
AlohaJeni 0
Yes, Telephone is a 'MASSIVEEE TUNEEEEE' as my friends would say ;) It's a classic pop song and perfect for radio and clubs. Loved the video too. :bite:
Kermit the frog 1,860
Its her best video.

Jase 13,043
I get why it was a single, but it's my least favourite from TFM, so not really, no
jhonyguy04 3
I love Telephone. But I think she should have also released Monster (which I love) and DITD (which I hate).
Morina 0
How come no one ever likes to talk about international sales instead of just U.S. sales? Telephone smashed internationally. It was a good choice.
Hot Space 14
I've never been a huge fan of the song, but it was a smart choice for a single. The video had nothing to do with the song, which kind of irked me, but overall, it was a fun period of time to remember.
LStephens11 15
Yes & the video kicked ass.
sciencemonster 31
It's such an awesome jam, and I expected it to do better too. I don't like it because Gaga doesn't like it (since it was meant for Britney), but she obviously hit something big with that video. Still definitely one of her best to date. Gaga is Life 101
Nope. Well, when I so no I mean I never really felt it (being after the epic Bad Romance), and I would have loved if Dance In The Dark was the second single, Alejandro third and Monster last. Don't get me wrong, I like Telephone and all that came with it...it's just it on an album filled with epic(er) songs.
high heeled fem 3
I agree. I have always LOVED alejandro. And the video. (and i can see yr a amy fan as well ) I love it sooooooo much its cool she did something different haha they so are! i love DITD and also SHICD but i couldn't imagine either of them as singles for some reason?
Squidward T 2,030
No tbh I would of wanted DITD instead
brdn08 12
Very happy it became a single. It was a missed opportunity though. Can you imagine how big the Grammy's 2010 would have been if Beyonce and Gaga had performed Telephone for the first time together.
