Just take note that Moroder composed and wrote the synth pop track Take My Breath Away from the first movie. Top Gun Maverick was filmed in 2019 for a 2020 original release date. They've been wanting to write music together ever since the Joanne sessions I think so it'd make sense if they worked on this. The thing about the video is that it seems like Moroder had already written the song and had an english singer on it so it seems like Gaga wrote a complete different one with her vocals on it? This movie seems like a big legacy movie. So having Moroder back would not be that surprising. Maybe he is the one who asked Gaga to join the soundtrack ? He has huge love for Gaga, so maybe ? I think he is out of it at this point. Not essentially the other two names are in charge of the score. Gaga is the theme vocalist. Not sure they would credit all producers of the song on the poster.
