They were not fake. Check your sources. Her team called them "fake" and people accepted it as fact though further evidence came out contradicting her team's attempts to cover it up. Also, I wasn't incorrect with what I said: she is white.  Being ethnically Hispanic does not validate racism either especially by a non-black person against black people. Thanks.

Her team???? You mean the people who actually made the fake tweets and the fact that it didn’t line up with her actual profiles AND her friends confirmed it??? Also not you degrading her race even more. Get it right. She is Mexican-Cuban. She was born in Cuban. Her dad is Mexican. Her mom is Cuban. The fact that you are not acknowledging a Latina’s race and calling her white is so wrong…. By the way I never said that being Hispanic doesn’t invalidate racism. Try rereading my post with glasses, I never said she gets a pass because of her race.

So to be exact, you have now contradicted yourself citing the "tweets" in question (I was really referring to the private messages between her and her bestfriend) as being "fake" but also Camila having made racist claims and remarks since she cannot defend it by being Hispanic. Okay. P.S. There is no Latinx race. It is an ethnicity. People who are Latinx are a combination of indigenous, white European and black but are typically labeled as Hispanic to recognize their ethnic differences and background compared to the direct descendants of white Europeans. As a white Latinx person Camila Cabello used the N-word to degrade Normani in private conversation to a friend the same conversation in which Normani was compared to a gorilla. I as a black person choose not to give her a platform or listen to her music and it is MY right to do so, the same way it is your right to as decided by your own conviction.

Sorry my mistake. The messages were fake. Her friend confirmed it and the fact that it didn’t match with her actual Facebook page proved it. The screenshots showed “Camila Cabello” while she didn’t go with Camila on Facebook, she went with her actual name, Karla. Camila never used that word towards N. And never said that she was a gorilla. You, as a black person, has every right to not stream / not like/ not buy her music. I never said you HAVE to like her or stream her music. I said you were degrading her ethnic background, and said that she was calling her former band mate slurs which is in fact, a lie.

I could never imagine defending/trashing Camila as hard as some of you guys are right now. Her music is good sometimes and I like the album, but she is not an interesting enough person to care about on that level.
