I don’t see why. That was years ago. If they’re not cool with each other, who cares? And if they are, great I guess, but still, who cares? 

That’s like asking if Nicki should apologize to Cardi. Neither of them have and probably won’t, but does it matter/will it change anything? Doesn’t seem like it.

It's old news and it really doesn't matter anymore. But I will say that my whole life since I was a toddler I have been an absolute STAN of Madonna. She was some of the first music I remember listening to, and Ray of Light was one of the first CDs I bought on my own (along with Spice Girls ). I worshipped her, dreamed of seeing her live one day, and obsessed over every new era.

Then one day in 2008 I heard Just Dance for the first time and discovered Gaga. She was the first artist I ever thought was close to or even matched the magic and power of Madonna. Gaga constantly mentioned her as an inspiration (even thanked her in the liner notes of The Fame), and I hoped one day they'd collab or something.

And then Madonna flat out rejected her. She made rude comments in interviews, made fun of her on the MDNA tour... it was gross and absolutely ruined my love for Madge. By the time Rebel Heart was coming out I had such a sour taste in my mouth from how she reacted to Gaga's rise that I stopped paying attention to her and now here we are.

So yeah, old news, who cares. But I know I'm not the only one that stepped back from Madonna because of how she treated Gaga, and whether she apologized or not I doubt I'll ever be able to love her the way I did again.

I used to feel the EXACT same way and then one day I decided to listen to Madonna's discography (beyond the singles I already knew) and I was HOOKED. Her discography run (with an exception of the 2010s) is honestly immaculate.

Why does everyone think she apologized or that they’re on good terms just because they took a photo together? That doesn’t prove anything.
