NATO is the worst and a nightmare for Eastern Europe, you are right. Russia can't even invade Poland and the Baltics anymore  Plus it's almost like all countries asking to be part of NATO in this part of the world have a reason behind.

This is why most nations (74% of UN member states representing nearly 70% of the global population) are holding back on sanctioning Russia and (rightfully) not getting involved with the warmongering tactics of the West. What's wrong with a union accepting more members? Seems like a great way to maintain peace. At least in that region. The evidence for that is the utter lack of Russian invaders in any NATO country.

I mean, that doesn't excuse the ridiculous military actions of the West (especially the US ) but that also doesn't excuse Russia's unprovoked invasion.

I was waiting for the mental gymnastics for some woke takes like these.  First of all you send me a pdf from 64 years ago when the Cold War implied a direct confruntation between US and the Soviets to win over the Third World. Both the Soviets and Americans wanted to impose their hegemony over the colonized world, now if you believe what Russia sells you in 2022 (I assume you are from Latin America), great, let Russian influence enter your country, obviously all nations have the right to decide their future. Eastern Europeans ones decided and they want in NATO. Whataboutism doesn't work in every instance. Russians destroyed the Middle East the same way Americans did (see Aleppo), moreover all Eastern Europeans can ''metaphorically'' look over the fence and see Bucha.

Lmfao the point of that document is to show exactly what NATO’s FOUNDING intentions were. The Soviet Union presented the biggest direct threat to Western imperialism and economic control over the world especially at a time when every Western European nation was losing their direct political control over their colonies in Africa, and subsequently trying to continue their financial control over these countries. You know.... these very same countries who lead an alliance and union that you somehow are trying to appeal to, an alliance and union that is responsible for the complete destruction of the nations of Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan as I mentioned, with civilian death counts and infrastructure damage significantly higher and worse than what Putin has managed in Ukraine. American hegemony is unparalleled, every consider why the dollar is the reserve currency worldwide and why 70% of global trade happens using it??? Ever consider why there are 750+ American military bases globally? Do you still want to paint a false equivalence?
