Economy 52,844
https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/canadian-economy-gains-more-steam-as-omicron-restrictions-lift-1.1745745 Canadas economy grew a staggering 6.7% in Q4 of 2021 revised data shows while early data is pointing to a massive 0.8% growth in February alone (9% annually) nearly guaranteeing Q1 of 2022 to grow at least 4% even if March disappoints and this is despite lockdowns early in the year in January when the economy still managed to grow but at a slower pace that month On a less noble and shameful note Canadas biggest exports are also benefiting from the Russia-Ukraine conflict as Oil, Metal and Grain Prices surge, all of which are major Canadian exports. Before the crisis even started Canada's trade surplus was at a 13 year high The conflict is also causing a lot of safe heaven seeking by investors in reserve currencies like the US Dollar and Euro preventing the Canadian Dollar from surging as much as it usually does when commodity prices surge which means while the resource sector booms, the industrial sector exports do not have to suffer from too high a currency as it often does High inflation and strong growth have also raised speculation that rate hikes will get even more aggressive. A FloriGay needs help Wait just a tincy bit longer. Almost every single expert agrees housing is about to drop and then finally it will be less extreme to live here While it may never become cheap or affordable anytime soon because there is a chronic shortage of housing supply making a 2007 USA style crash unlikely... Experts do nevertheless believe the rapid increases in interest rates, a solid couple of years in construction (finally a couple years where construction outpaced population growth) and more anti speculation regulations being introduced are likely to trigger at the very least a moderate if not solid pull back. Estimates vary from 20% to 30%... They have said this before and it didn't happen but I think the reality of rising rates means this time may really be different

This is what I heard but who knows tbh! We do also hear of tragic stories like this one family who froze to death at the Canadian / American border so if any american sees this ...plz dont attempt this during the winter time. But yeah I'm sure there are proper ways to go about this! We really should build a wall but at the same time Canada kind of understand that we cannot anger the big giant eagle under us. America could literally snatch our wig in like half a day if it ever got to that 6 minutes ago, Economy said: Wait just a tincy bit longer. Freezing to death in Canada > roasting alive before drowning in swamp water and having your body eaten by alligators They made a South Park episode about that btw. It was hilarious but Canada's like our attractive best friend. Whimsical bitch
