people is very 50/50 on this. I think he and Will have the exact same amount of supporters and detractors.

The fact there was a man trying to do what Will did at his show is scary to say the least. THIS is exactly why the reaction was needed for Will and why we can’t and shouldn’t let this go. By letting it go we are sending the message that it is okay to assault comedians if you don’t like their jokes.

Isn't this a shame? That supporters and detractors are more obedient to fan-worship then to to ANY form of belief?!

To my mind...we should all be criticizing these two men??  Not choose sides:laughga:

I think Will Smith fans are very vocal and try to shut down any debate but I’d say from social media (except twitter) Rock has 60-70% support.

When Will slapped him the look on Chris’ face really saddened me lol even if Chris made a mistake, Will did it too, and it was just sad. Violence can be traumatic to people u cant touch people. Respect to Chris for being the bigger man

Chris is the bigger, better man.

Clearly Chris Rock can handle assault, while Will Smith can't even handle a joke.

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

I feel for Chris. He has talked about the trauma he had struggled with from childhood bullying and violence. Imagine having to relive that on a global stage. I'd much rather take the bald joke.

That's really sad actually, I hope he can brush it off

Both are still immature lol

Only one party committed assault that night though.

Try getting slapped in front of all your peers and millions of other people, see if you could handle it with more maturity. :river:
