What did she do??? Well whatever it is at least she came around and humbled herself. She understands her privilege and her role as a performer

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

She had to cancel a show in Paraguay because there was a storm. Fans still waited for her at the hotel and they were pissed that she did not come down to see them... in the middle of the storm. And then they lost their shit and did a whole twitter hate campaign against her because they felt entitled to make her come down and greet them despite the bad weather. They were calling her slurs and comparing her to Nazis so of course she got upset and lashed out on Twitter.

chaeri pls

She had a show in Paraguay and people were outside her hotel, it started raining and it turned into a huge storm where they had to cancel the show. It was a huge storm and even 3 people died.

People complained she didn't even care to come out/"show her face" even from her hotel room (like they just wanted to see her even from the window of her room).

Then the next day when she left she said "no one was there". "Let that SINK IN", that sounded horrible considering the things that happened. And then people came for her, some went too far, I agree.

The hate train is stupid and she did the right thing to cancel, but at least show your face from the window like you said. Maybe she didn't think about it.

She actually did think about that, allegedly. She said she got out the other day waiting for people to be there at the entry but "no one" was there, that's what actually fueled Paraguayan fans even more because according to them (videos and photos) she straight up lied and the rest is history. Focusing only on the lynching and hateful comments derails the main subject to another issue: internet trolls, social media being the toilet of internet, etc. Any discussion has those, especially on Twitter.

Sadly social media it's the only way people can express themselves and somehow be noticed by celebrities.

Butters Stotch

This is one of those situations where both sides acted in a wrong way. Fans and people on Twitter definitely went way too far, but she didn't have an appropriate behavior either and I'm impressed to see how much people were defending her at all costs.

I'm glad she apologized, though it's not gonna make me difference since there are people who are going to hate her forever because of all this misunderstanding. Sometimes apologizing is necessary not only for the one you hurt but for yourself, once you say you are sorry you are acknowledging whatever it is that you did and that already makes you a better person.

I hate how I feel she was collectively gaslighted into apologising for more than she needed to. But it says so much about her that she said and meant all of this, it doesn't sound like stupid PR **** either, it feels like her real thought process and shows that she is just human and has these moments of "**** it all, **** you all" like we all do.

I don't like that people think famous people aren't afforded the same mistakes and emotional extremes that we all go through, the difference is most of us don't have a microscope on us at all times when these things happen.

This woman is a gem, seems real as **** and has an abundance of talent, she's not perfect but who really is? If you think you are you're a narcissist and I hope I never know you 😂

Yeah I mean, I dont think it was even her thing deciding to cancel the show, but people came for her when she said no one was there in the morning (true, but how are you expecting fans to be there when she didnt even care the day before + people was taken care of their own problems with the storm) then it went too far, I think we all agree on that.

The entire situation was like being in the twilight zone. Her fans and supporters literally used the minority (disrespectful internet trolls that pretty much reside in every corner) to shield her from any criticism regarding her approach.

They'll keep it mum and cute now, since Doja herself apologized. Good for her.

Same situation happened with Britney back in 2000s when she had to cancel her show after doing 3-4 songs because of the storm. She was scrutinised.
