The OA, a show that is available on Netflix. Released in 2016 the series quickly became a hit.

The series revolve around Prairie Johnson, who returns home after 7 years and to everyone's surprise has her eyesight restored.

She then tells her story to 5 strangers who "invite her in."

We an taken on an intense journey that is very complex, thrilling and at times scary.

An interdimensional travel, afterlife, multiverse. It has it all.

Unfortunately despite being one of the highest rated, loved by fans and critics alike the show was canceled by Netflix after 2 seasons. The reason for the cancelation was unclear and it was said that money was not the problem but some issues between the creators and Netflix.

It was originally planned to have 5 seasons with the plot being written for all the seasons. It is similar to Dark in some ways. If you enjoyed that mind boggling show you will definitely love it.

There is a new rumor that the show will return. Lets hops and pray and my fellow witches and illuminati members do some voodoo and make it happen. No offence but why is Riverdale going on when this masterpiece was canceled.

Go watch it my friends, You'll love it.

Tagging some people so that this thread doesnt get canceled like one of the greatest shows ever made.

I always thought the cancelation was a stunt as

Spoiler

in the second season finale we can see the other dimension was a tv show and Prairie got in a major accident

I miss this show so much, come on hbo max, do something about it, netflix doesnt deserve it :bradley:

I found this show to be too convoluted and confusing but it was interesting to watch. It is a shame that they introduced so many things in season 2 that they didn’t get to follow through on.

i believe with all my might that the cancelation was a stunt

Spoiler

also it could be like the characters broke the fourth wall and are in our dimension as in the real world. idk if im making sense

honestly some other network should pick it up if netflix doesnt. i mean the audacity to cancel it and not riverdale where the highs and lows of high school football are more daunting than prison

I can’t believe they canceled it with still so much story to tell. The OA  is an example of brilliant writing.
This show connects the scientific/rational with the seemingly magical/divine in the most poetic way possible.

Where is the rumor?

Cause so far, Netflix refused to sell the rights to studios who offered to buy it

And Brit and Zal are now signed for a new show to FX...

I finally watched the second season and it was amazing.
Still hoping for a third season but I don’t think that’s going to happen since Brit and Zal have moved on to other projects.
