TaylorSwift 162,446
Spotify is suspending its services in Russia as the country’s invasion of Ukraine continues into its second month. In a statement, the company appears to reference Russia’s new law that punishes spreading fake news about the military with up to 15 years in prison as the primary reason for why it’s shutting down in the country. Spotify removed content from Kremlin-backed outlets RT and Sputnik and closed its office in Russia earlier in March, but this new step goes further by shutting down the streaming service in the country. The company also said in March that its paid subscription service would no longer be available in Russia. https://store.taylorswift.com
TEANUS 16,141
They hadn't already done this?? We're a month in, literally exactly about a month British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS
Stupid Oreo 14,669
Might sound weird but I am feeling super sad also for all the innocent people in Russia. Getting arrested for a blank piece of paper, or being a teen without the ‘basics’ growing up seems tough too. All my prayers go to the people in Ukraine too

All my prayers go to the people in Ukraine too It's really unfortunate that, much like what happens with China, so much of the GP can't distinguish between a nation's government and their general public when retaliating against the involved nation(s). They simple turn it into a whole "anti-" narrative of the population/ culture rather than focusing on the true evils i.e. a corrupt government, terrorist groups, etc. British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS

Most apparently are supporting Putin Most unfortunate is that many are blindly ignorant to the reality of the situation by no fault of their own. Russia's media is very controlled, especially now when most, if not all, of what most are receiving is coming from within right now. Not to even mention media propaganda British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS

I won't hold it against them tbh. Even the soldiers in Ukraine don't know what's happening half the time, I don't expect citizens to know much more.
