Teletubby 145,147 Posted March 25, 2022 Share Posted March 25, 2022 Grimes is launching an “intergalactic children’s metaverse book.” She said the project was part of a $100 million initiative from OP3N and the Avalanche Foundation meant to support the development of projects related to art, entertainment and culture on the Avalanche blockchain. Named the Culture Catalyst initiative, the first of these funded projects — paid out in the network's native token AVAX — will go towards musician Grimes. “When I first got into Web 3, this was the kind of project I was hoping to see,” Grimes said in a statement. “I’m very excited to be partnering with [OP3N] to launch a series of educational art for babies and small children with the goal of creating a profound experience for babies that is also deeply meaningful to adults.” OP3N describes itself as a launchpad to empower creatives in Web 3 and is partnering with the Avalanche Foundation to launch the $100 million initiative.
