Unpopular opinions: Britney Spears

ITZ is her best album behind yes Glory

Blackout is overrated and Glory is soooo underrated and one of her best.

Femme Fatale is her worst era and shouldn’t of happened. Even tho the album is pretty great and filled with bangers.

Big Fat Bass is her worst song though!

I much prefer BJ & Glory Britney over Circusney and Femme Fataleney. If that makes sense.

Britney Jean isn’t as bad as everyone says it is and has some true bangerz and some actually pretty great songs tbh.

Britney Jean Era could have been WAY better and a second peak. If only the album wasn’t rushed :bradley:

Amm yes? Britney can speak her mind just like Xtina did. It just speaks about her character that she can stay silent on this topic.

She showed support for Britney last year on Twitter. She was not silent

Whatever my point still stands about Britney feeling the same need to share her opinion on the topic. It clearly hurt her for whatever reason.

Dr Fudge

I just can’t get into her 2001 Britney album. Compared to it’s predecessor and successor albums, the singles were weak. Just not my cup of tea and I get frustrated when fans place it as one of her best. I just don’t hear it.

Been a cuff touple, a puff bupple, a tough couple of years.

Ultimately, it was not Britney’s fans’ research or the energy they invested into rummaging through her public records that got her out of the conservatorship, so as I see it, that was a pointless invasion of her privacy - even if she welcomed it. A lot of fans used that opportunity to massage their parasocial Britney boners. Of course she appreciated the support regardless, but the reality is that the awareness this “research” raised probably had very little, if anything, to do with the outcome of the case.

Not to say that some of her fans didn’t have a healthy relationship with the movement. Some have raised great points and offered insightful takes on her situation, but I did see an overwhelming amount of them making far-fetched speculation and borderline creepy fanfiction-esque assumptions about her life. I also found it peculiar the amount of time some fans invested into following, detailing, and sensationalizing every aspect of her case (only to then bombard TMZ with hateful comments at their slightest mention of Britney.) That is why I compare them to the media and paparazzi. In that sense they were very similar.

I think I will trust the opinion of Britney herself, many attorneys who work in conservatorship law, and Britney's lawyer himself, who stated that Britney's fans were essential in gaining Britney's freedom, over the opinion of someone who is clearly biased and doesn't know what they are talking about, but thanks.
