Dojo 19,365
yes, definitely the same sound apart from the singles, you could mix up all her songs and i would never be able to tell which album they belong to, it's all the same. she needs a remix ala summertime sadness bop

I think it’s doing pretty well, has sold a few million copies. Can’t compare sales to 2015. This. End thread. Y’all messy today.
Night Vision 3,068
She still outsold everyone and got a 10 week #1 hit. Trying to paint this era as some kind of flop is so weird

Meat 18,962
She had the best selling album worldwide and her lead single was #1 for 10 weeks. Nothing went wrong Reminds me of how hard the media and stans tried to paint ARTPOP as a flop when it was the second best selling female album of 2013 and Applause was top 10 for 14 consecutive weeks
Wixson 5,004
I don't think anything went wrong, she's still crushed it, just not up to the internet's/her previous releases standards. But I also don't understand why is half of people in this thread acting so damn defensive. If Easy on Me stayed #1 for 30 weeks it still wouldn't match the instant iconicness of Hello, Rolling in the Deep or any other of her hit singles. Something is definitely missing, but it's nothing to write a research paper on. Might be our fault, not hers.

There’s definitely been a lack of presence this era. I’ve barely heard easy on me on the radio and Idek if she’s released other singles since? Maybe she wants a lowkey era though Idk where you live, but easy on me is on the radio literally all the time and on most pop stations anyway…I like Adele but the album was boring

Galagala 4,611
The new album is great. It's her change of image and the way she talks on tv shows (kind of remind me of Jennifer Lawrence) that have somehow turned me off about her... She lost her "class" and feels cheap to me now and Idk why.
