He can also be good on the individual moves (Applause, Marry the Night...). Laurieann was good on the individual moves but I can't think of really good structures she created in terms of group choreos, maybe I'm wrong but I can't think of any so that wasn't her strong point. Maybe her work is better fit for music videos etc. But for the stage, there's a real importance in how the dancers will be placed and interact with each other, and that's where Richy shines. When I watch the choreography of other performers, it seems that the moves actually complement, and react to the music. Richy's dance moves often seem like they're in isolation to the music. We don't know why he specifically designed that move for that part of the song... it just doesn't flow a lot of the times. Sometimes it does, 911, Stupid Love are pretty decent.
