Y’all’s are so insecure melting down over the slightest criticism of her 😭😭

There are 0 fanbases in existence that have everyone completely happy about everything, yet so many of you insist we must reach this impossible standard.

Y?

Go take a walk outside and don’t make threads about it, I beg.

Also: Either offer an intelligence response to the specific criticism to make your peace, or don’t say anything at all. Complaining about the negativity while saying nothing is the absolute worse thing you can do if you want peace - bc it doesn’t even solve anything.

I see what you're saying but I'm gonna play devil's advocate for a moment.

If you're upset that fans are supposed to meet an impossible standard, wouldn't the reverse argument also be true for Gaga? She has millions of fans and there is no way for her to make everybody happy. Did this topic need a thread? No. It could have been a response to the other threads or even been a response to the announcement thread. But this also holds true for those threads that criticize the announcement, they could have been a response in that thread as well.

If you look at the last portion of OPs post they did give an intelligent response with several reasons for why Gaga and team made the decisions they did.

Omg you need to stop. A small minority of ppl complain but then a larger majority complain about the ppl complaining which makes this site look more negative.

It’s understandable for some fans to be disappointed considering they live in huge markets that are ignored. Even before covid, WW3, etc she had no intentions of visiting Asia/South America/Australia etc. Let them be disappointed. It doesn’t mean they want her health to be at risk. But they can express their feelings.

Not to mention you would think that she would prioritise countries like Brazil/Korea/Japan considering the Rio cancellation/BLACKPINK collab/ and the fact that she said she’d tour Japan….

IMO she should have replaced Atalanta and LA with other countries considering Americans have had easier access to vegas than others

Was Gaga ever actually slated to perform in Rio?

The Blackpink collab could have actually persuaded her to not tour Korea. I think the song actually served to introduce BP to the American/English market, not the other way around. Plus, with all of their stream/sales data I'm sure they're able to gauge interest in Gaga in Korea.

Was Atlanta just a random pick for a US date you would have wanted replaced or is it intentional? If anything that's the one U.S. date I would keep if I were her. She has 3 dates in the NE part of the U.S. and Atlanta is the one place in the SE. I agree with replacing the LA date simply because she's also performing in SF and the proximity to Vegas.

Personally, I didn't have the money to just drop on Vegas dates/flight/hotel for Enigma, nor did I have the motivation to scrap together the money in order to see that show. Plus it's no longer available regardless. I think the Dallas date serves to please some South American fans, but I also understand that seeing her there would be pricey.

Where? She only had 6 dates planned and they were all America/Europe

The reliable insider confirmed that Asia & Latin America were planned back in 2020, but they held back on announcing the dates because it was right at the point when Covid was becoming A Big Thing.

Los Angeles has definitely been planned since at least 2020 as well (there was a Gaga x Oreos contest in 2020 where the prize was tickets to the LA show, which hadn't even been announced back then). Seems like there were always more dates planned than the six that were announced.

What insider lol. They have all been proven fake. Not to mention the gaga and Oreo collab was made in December of 2020, way after the tour announcement

There were rumors in spring 2020 that the Chromatica Ball was originally supposed to have 15 dates. She only announced 6 bc I think she was concerned about covid, so it was a compromise. Then convos canceled everything. Now… we have 15 dates… idk feels too specific to be just a coincidence.

Look see:

Praying for a Leg 2 bc I feel so bad for non anglo fans, but apparently it’s just too impossible.

I honestly don’t see how touring in countries you have toured in years before, is an impossible standard. She did this w the Joanne tour too so while I understand it’s harder to tour there in 2022… I still never got a satisfactory reason as to why she dropped countries in that tour too. It’s just so bizarre in general.

I know she’s not the only artist  who does this tho so I’m def not trying to blame her personally, or her team that much.

And also, to expand, my post is not just about OP - it’s for other commentators too. It reflects on so many other times there has been controversy on this site, and we get “why cant be just be utopia?” threads. I get the desire, I do, and raining on parades is never fun… but if it’s valid - it’s valid.

The overwhelming response in the “it’s too white” thread was in support of Gaga so I don’t think we should generalize that there’s legions of fans on here throwing fits tbh

Literally the one insider you can trust:

AVvXsEhFXdDNrECS8cj0RrGFiZZQUOcHkN2KJxm7

(This was also reported by Lady Gaga Now back in March 2020 and seemed to be pretty common knowledge amongst insiders at the time).

And yes the Oreo collab was December 2020, but it included tickets for a then-unannounced LA show which wasn't part of the rescheduled dates for 2021 and so was presumably going to be announced later on, proving that they've always had extra dates in reserve.

To be fair, forums like this exists so we can nitpick things and continuously generate discussion. So we can read or see something, take one or several pertinent or irrelevant things from it and make a thread about it.

With all the complaints about the tour not being big enough (locations), I hope there is an official recording of a show ( or dress rehearsal).  Some closeups, and some grand views with all the choreo and staging and video segments.

"Oh no, a fanbase of millions has some upset people in it!"

Get yourselves together and stop crying everytime she's not met with 100% approval, jesus :awkney:

Like... OF COURSE people are gonna be mad if she does a tour and won't even step foot on their CONTINENT?

"You're ruining the vibe with negativity boo ooh ooh" 3 complaining threads won't ruin anything for you when you're sitting at the Chromatica ball because she actually came to your country lol, stop moaning

I agree. Some monsters insisted for months that Gaga would CANCEL her 6-DATE tour, that she was just "waiting for an excuse."

If she wanted to cancel the tour, she'd have canceled it in 2021! Taylor postponed 5 stadium shows in 2020 and canceled them last year. Her reason? "Unable to reschedule." Who could blame her? COVID is not covered by cancellation insurance.

In fact, NONE of Gaga's contemporaries are touring. Not Bey. Not Rihanna. Katy, Adele (2 dates in London), and Taylor, all of whom released new music in the last 2 years, aren't touring either.

Fact is, Gaga does NOT need an excuse. She had a PSYCHOTIC BREAK in late 2017. She cut her JWT short in January 2018. Traveling is hard on her.

Selena is only 29 but has not toured in years. She had to cancel her European and Latin American dates in 2016 due to anxiety and depression.

Now, some monsters are upset that it's only a 15-DATE tour... North America and Europe, not Latin America or Asia.

I'm not white, but what does this have to do with race?? She's a performer. Does Gaga have a lot of fans in Latin America? In Asia? In 2022? My guess is she has A LOT more fans in Europe. 🙂

In that case, people that never seem to be happy or satisfied probably need some help?

I haven’t said anything but I am annoyed that this is the 2nd album tour that she hasn’t come to my country and we were one of the first to make her number one
