Oh no, I understand her management deals with the vast majority of things and they take nearly all the blame. I just feel she has a little responsibility to ensure her fans are safe and to oversee the whole thing since it’s her concert and her fans at the end of the day.

The venue was obviously picked because it was going cheap and it has the highest capacity of any stadium in London. It was purely a financial decision without any consideration of safety, transport links or security.  Surely she’d question why Wembley or the O2 wasn’t chosen, since she’s been performing there for the last 14 years.

she would rely on the tour planners to make sure her fans are safe

it's by far not the highest capacity stadium in london, even the BTWBall had 55k people in twickenham stadium

don't blame Gaga herself it isn't her fault in the slightest. is she expected to be familiar with every stadium in every local area of each country worldwide? it's not fair to even mention her in the blame

Wembley was booked, O2 is too small I guess. I don't think they'd want it to be a stadium and (2 arena) tour. I'm not sure.

She could've done 1 night at Wembley on Friday instead of 2. Wembley's max capacity was Adele with 98k, both Tottenham shows combined were 92k.

A good number of those were people going twice, but honestly I think 98k would be achievable.... if it weren't for the stage.

So I got thinking about this stage  and realised that the artrave stage is legitimately her best for people who want to see her live. The catwalk is massive, goes far & transparent, no obstructive set pieces, no nonsense.

If she had replicated that catwalk setup for Chromatica, the world would be a much nicer place :laughga:

The thing with the Tottenham Stadium is it's a brand new stadium and they're trying to push it to hold major events (it's now the home of NFL in the UK, there's been boxing matches on and now gigs). The facilities and actual arena was awesome but the issue for sure was access. Its the same with most of north London though, as most of it is only connected by Overground trains which run every 15mins. Emirates Stadium would have worked and London Stadium would have been good but the walk from Stratford is pretty long and I think, having seen some of the heels you guys were wearing, it would have been a nightmare :koons:

The O2 arena is great as its connected by a tube (every 2mins or so) but its just too small. It's only 20k maximum and with the tour being limited dates they wanted to clearly do larger stadiums and less shows, which makes sense.

Sadly the reason some of you had to see the area was because of the poor transport links. Tbh...all the stadium needs is a regular tube outside and it'll be perfect

Wembley wasn't available. There was a major soccer match on that pitch yesterday evening. Zero chance of holding a concert there on Friday or Saturday night.

Ahh man, I’m sorry so many of you had a bad experience with the stadium organisation and the surrounding area! I thought the stadium itself was awesome - great size and the facilities seemed really good to me - so it’s a shame the location lets it down. I’m not sure how we managed it, but when we dipped out of the queue for the train and walked away from the stadium down various side streets we were absolutely fine. Felt a little nervous, but no more than I would anywhere else - it was really quiet with only pockets of other fans here and there. I had no issues other than the fact it’s a bit of an awkward place to get to and from. Hopefully somehow they get feedback and pick a different location next time - it’s no good having fans feel so unsafe.

I agree that if they’re only doing one stop in the UK on the next tour they should look at another city. Manchester would be amazing, not just because I live here but also because it’s a great size but not too big, there’s plenty for visitors to do, it’s easy to get around and it’s more central for the rest of the UK to get to. Also feel like it’s easier for going to surrounding areas if you came from abroad and wanted to explore the UK more on your trip - it’s so handy to get to another city like Liverpool or get into the countryside somewhere like the Lakes or over to Wales.

London is fun but it’s exhausting to get around. Even though the public transport links are great, the place is so massive and sprawling it can feel like you spend most of your visit either walking or on the bus/tube. Love London but I don’t know how people live there - I suppose you get used to it, but it’s too big and too busy for me :laughga:

Has anyone seen or found a video of at least the full piano segment? I was on the screen but I can’t remember which song it was and want to find it :messga:

Has anyone got / seen a video of the screens during Free Woman on night 1 (Friday 29th)? Or anyone in GC who filmed her on stage until she dances into crowd?

numb the flame

Hey guys, bit of a long shot but I was wondering if anyone would be happy to sell me their VIP package merch? I'll happily pay around £50 for it, I've seen one on eBay for £86 including shipping which is insane imo.

still recovering from Saturday (lost my voice)! it was amazing! you could tell she's got loads of stamina this time till the end. I guess the flat boots, easier to move in outfits and no change in hair deffo helped. She looked happy:pawsup:

also weirdly SC and 911 are non events because they don't start straight away but they get better after the first chorus and songs like FW and Enigma were FIREEE. Everyone was screaming and dancing to those.

Song that the whole stadium was singing was Shallow
